FFXIVboot.exe - Bad Image

I'm trying to install the CE. I've uninstalled the beta, yet when I try to click on the shortcut link to FFXIV, I immediately get the message:

C:\Windows\system32\aticfx32.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

I have uninstalled and restarted my computer with the same outcome. I've read about the CRC and the batches of NA discs that are bad. Is this one of those cases?

Dunno if it matters, but these are my computer specs.

Windows 7, 64 bit Operating System

ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series

the game has nothing to do with this driver (it is a directx driver). The odds are you have never updated your directx from the installation of windows. So, update your directx and do it via the windows update.
