Hey fellow ffxivers, My friend installed ffxiv and everytime he loads up ffxiv right after he clicks on the `play`button, it shows the black screen and then this:
FINAL FANTASY XIV has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a salution is available.
also bottom right says something about windows changing the colors scheme or something,
ALSO the same msg shows up when he loads up the benchmark program. Is this a common problem.
any help is appreciated! thanks guys!
We have reinstalled, and repatched entire game many times.
some specs (i dont know how to find the rest)
pentium duel core CPu, E5500 at 2.80 ghz
4 gbs ram
64 bit operating system.
Display adapter type Intel(R) G41 Express Chipset
Total available graphics memory 1695 MB
Dedicated graphics memory 64 MB
Dedicated system memory 0 MB
Shared system memory 1631 MB
Display adapter driver version 8.15.10.2040
Primary monitor resolution 1680x1050
DirectX version DirectX 10
