Hello! Let’s all tread together the treacherous path of the final day of the work week joined by some great music!

I have said before that Final Fantasy IX is not my favorite FF. I'm not saying it's bad - just that if I put all of them in front of me in a table like a set of cards, and you asked me to pick my favorites, I wouldn't rush to pick IX - I would probably stop a while debating internally on whether I should pick IV or VI first.

Nevertheless, IX does boast a huge soundtrack with very memorable songs. One such theme is "You Are Not Alone". At an important moment in the game's story the main character Zidane loses his will and just gives up on everything, after finding out a certain spoilerish revelation. One by one, his comrades (the party) try to get him out of his sadness and in the end remind him that he's not alone. They give him strength and the support he needs, which makes him remember that no matter what he will always be Zidane - and joins the party in their final foray into Kuja's stronghold.

Game on.
