I don't dislike the fact there are 2 modes, but I do dislike the choice of keys to use, f to switch modes, when I'm using the numpad to run around it's pretty far away as a button to press, it's just not a user friendly way to go around doing it.

What are the mouse camera controls like, say for example if you use WASD and the mouse ?

I see people talking about this pic pack but the only download link I saw was on some jap site. could you put it on mediafire or something?

Use the Japanese site and enter ff14 in the white box befor clicking the download button, is pretty simple

Yea I get that but does it have that annoying auto-pan and is it unresponsive like FF11's.

Will prob decrease when you up the resolution, assuming your on a PC of course.

Yeah I didn't take one step further in Aion until I could shrink the wall of RMT text flowing through half of my screen.

Didn't really like that it took up the entire bottom of my screen. The new one is perfect, it just needs to be moved all the way down and to the left! Oh and yeah, i prefer smaller text.

I'm trying to get an idea how detailed the sliders are.. of if there are even sliders. How many Hairstyles? I'm curious about shit like that. Snowflake etc.

They already confirmed there will be sliders when they described how you could change the chick's boob size. Sadly that option is not in the Alpha.

Do you read the manual when you start playing a shooter? No, you expect mouse 1 is shoot and mouse 2 is alternate fire not the other way around. It's something you don't think about because it's so normal. Having to switch stance before you attack isn't. It's something they didn't think through in my eyes.

...yes, yes I do read the manual when I start up a new game. And if it was a brand new, still in development game where things are still being worked out and designed and I was one of the few testers who had access to it to determine how well something worked, it would be even more reason to rtfm. Especially when they specifically mentioned to players that the version of the game they are playing skips the in game tutorial so players can get right into the game itself.
