Yeah, they changed the "2000 beta keys"to "everyone there gets a key" yesterday I think.

AFAIK, no one knows when those people get beta access though. Might not be for a month yet.

The last 1% of a torrent can take alot longer if there aren't many seeders, which there likely isn't yet.

Put FFXIV in fullscreen and cursor is still laggy like it was in the alpha. Is it that hard to implement hardware acceleration for mice?

It can be if nothing is optimized, but sometimes cursor lag can come from your end because of various reasons.

Just finished my install and I don't appear to have cursor lag like in alpha. Might want to double check your settings Viperlasson just in case.

Depth of field is the blur you see in the background. My experience in it with most games is that it will cause a %5-%10 decrease in FPS if its enabled. I usually turn it off, it feels like tunnel vision anyways.

Got the beta client downloaded. Screenshots from that. One new change, you have to log in before you get to the "Start" screen.

Full-screen mode locks up when you alt-tab out.

I don't suppose somewhere in those menus is a picture of customizing keyboard settings? Or is that in-game?

I'm kind of curious to see if it's fully customizable.

Play in window mode and increase your resolution to whatever your monitor is at then you have full screen + alt tab.

Won't be true full screen and therefore have limitations of windowed more, so it's almost pointless. Plus we shouldn't be looking for a workaround, S-E should just fix that shit and that's it.
