Oh shit I forgot about my Relic feet, I've been wanting to put together my sets and post them a while ago, before I started dedicating all my time to salvage, I'm 6/6 on Relic, and I believe I have the set stored, which is probably why I had forgotten about it.

AF+1 hands.

You need more acc in your TP set to cap out (on birds at least), so not sure if AF+1 body is an option for you quite yet.

Usu feet are pretty easy to farm and are great.

What feet are those in your ninjitsu set? (Relic feet work well for that).

Sorry to butt in, but besides bomblet and usu feet, are there any other pieces needed to cap out on acc to justify the use of AF+1 body on birds? I have a similar setup.

@ Neo Shenrien doesnt need more acc to cap out at birds if using sushi. I wear less or equal acc to that set and capped out the last time I parsed.(Too lazy to calculate atm but more than likley less due to mithra dex)

Looking over it now, I notice that I was missing quiet a few pieces of gear in my sets, which makes me sad :<

I basically use a Pizza for whatever I'm doing that does not result on birds, I do a lot of soloing and I find that to carry me far enough usually swapping in and out of sets to much to get any solid reads on it or else I'd probably end up dead soloing Ulli stats lol

I wasn't implying that you swapped slow in, but that you left some slots unswapped (which is what you showed us). It's your own fault if you post your incomplete gear. We're not mindreaders.

Which I am aware of :/ I had just logged in and I figured I had all my gear without reviewing my macros, the last two months have kinda been a roller coaster of fuck, so I don't really remember much hell when I logged in I tried controlling myself with the wsad controls and was wondering wtf was up lol.

Right, but if he has Katana merits there really isnt a reason to use sushi over meat kabobs. He's close to the cap as is. I did the math for a similar setup (with some more acc) a few pages back, you guys can check that out and replace my gear with yours to get the values of acc you need to cap out.

Edit: Here it was:

Colibri: 334-339 Evasion.

My Acc: 292 skill (so 200 + .9*92 = 282.8 acc) + 70 base dex (35 acc) + 20 dex from gear in TP set(10 acc) + gear acc (5 perdu, 16 usu body, 7 usu head, 10 usu hands, 2.5 usu legs, 7 usu feet, 7 back, 7 ammo = 61.5 acc + 8.5 from rings = 70 acc).

That's a total of 282.8+35+10+70 = 397.8 acc.

Lvl 81-82:
6-7 lvl difference:
Acc penalty = 4acc/level * 6 levels = 24 acc penalty (or 28 for 82 lvl)

Hit-rate = 75% + (-24 + 58 or 63 acc (depending on lvl)) * 0.5% = 75%+19.5% = 94.5% hit rate for the lvl 81 colibri.

And that's with no Innin or food.

Replace his gear with what I have up there.. I'd do it myself but busy atm.

If you give him Bomblet, he has 24 less acc than my set, which would put him at about 82.5% hit rate. So he should definately be wearing Hauby+1 instead of AF+1. And working on Usu feet.

Hauby alone would put him back at around 90% hit rate, before food/innin.

Mix and match sushi nin is better than full usu meats. Atleast on birds, mithra with katana merits can cap acc in full haste gear. acc+ magian weapon/OAT magian, rajas+toreadors, suppa+brutal, af+1 body, speed belt, dusk+1/koga, bomblet, usu boots, cuchu mantle, acubens, tiercel, and haidate should be the ideal TP set AFAIK. Obviously a few downgrades would be made for most people but you can swap around and I'm sure sushi + full haste would win for colibris and most mobs you would melee with nin on.

47 acc with that gear. Can always upgrade to better sushi for lacking gear too. The increase in DOT is different when a job has a much higher amount of their dmg come from DoT than WS. I'm not sure of the exact split but I know its a lot on nin and mnk.

NIN's TP:WS split is significantly different from SAM's, nobody said you're always capped on acc and/or attack, misquote more.

Hmm. I was capped using full usu, and he has 24 less acc when he gets a bomblet.

If you swaps in Acubens, leaves on AF+1, looks like sushi would still give him room to drop maybe Neck or swap back to att+. Idk. have to work out the math and see what's the optimal acc/attack you can get with max haste/DW setup and sushi and compare it to my current day time full usu + meat build.

Edit: And Nightfrye, you're still missing the point that Hauby+1/Usu feet/Polegrip was superior DoT at LESS THAN .5% WS damage loss for the alternative... And that's without counting acc differences. Stop trying to justify bullshit, even other people's bullshit.
