Amazing finale, when Chuck disarmed like 4 people in under a section I think I pissed myself.

I knew (and was hoping) Chuck would upload the intersect again and now that he has an upgraded version the next season should kickass. But I do hope Chuck retains his...spying style throughout the next season.

I hope he keeps his style...if you don't consider him being a pussy his style. It was starting to get old, though I see why he was like that. I don't mean for him to become Casey, but I don't want him to be a total pussy about every mission until Sarah gets in trouble...

He's not a pussy, but I do like the clumsy elements and the way he gets things done. He's actually pretty brave (or stupid) considering what he's done and who he has to go up against.

I just don't want to see the intersect getting Chuck out of trouble instead of being at least a little creative with it. It'll get boring fast if whenever Chuck gets in trouble he can bust out intersect kung-fu.

No, he's ALWAYS a pussy, until that moment in the episode where everything depends on him and then he does something amazing. I'd much rather they skip him not wanting to do anything and jump straight to him actually thinking up a plan and doing it. And yeah, he better not do everything perfectly, that's not his style. But I want him to actually enjoy his new profession as opposed to always playing the victim (even though he really was one).

He was a pussy at the start, much like you described. But the later half of the first season and most of the second season he's been much more proactive. He acts like a pussy and coward (who wouldn't be like that when faced with a gun/psychopath), but he isn't one. If he was, he wouldn't do half the shit he does.

Simply put, I'm so not convinced that Chuck is a pussy.

He sure acts like one most of the time. That's why he's always claimed he's not a hero and not "that guy". But you're right, he actually isn't a pussy. I just hope they don't give him a "style" of being a spy that replicates him being a pussy and not wanting to do half the missions he's given.

Chuck is apparently on the bubble for the next season and there is a grass roots movement similar to Jericho/Roswell/StarTrek to try and make sure it comes back next year.

One thing I never realized is that NBC is losing prime time real estate with the Jay Leno show moving to 10 so they have to trim the fat from their line up. I just hope the strong ending to S2 will help it make the cut!
