Oh man, I assumed this would suck so I've been ignoring it but damn, it looks awesome I can't wait! Loved the series, curious how they will do Appa. Going to try to avoid nitpicking as much as I can and accept it for what it is. As long as they don't fuck up anything major (Aaang as a happy pacifist child, making him start out super powerful, or trying to make Soka smart).

The Super Bowl spot looked pretty awesome. Got me amped up about the movie. The music was a bit odd for the series though, but it's probably just to gain interest. From reading, M.N. Shamwow watched the series with his kids, so I don't think he'll screw the story up. Hell, even Appa is in the trailer. (@10 secs in look to the upper left)

They should have called the movie AVATAR in huge letters with "The Last Airbender" in fine print.

A shame they can't. :/ They couldn't use any form of the word "Avatar" in the title due to the James Cameron movie. That and Cameron's a huge douchebag.

But yeah, does the sound work for you OG? I hpoe so. I think the narration is coming from Avatar Roku. It sounds like it would be, anyway. Also, when Aang was watching the siege on the Air Temple (I think it was), I'm thinking it's just him going back in the spirit world. All of this is obviously just speculation, but still. I really hope they go in depth with things.

Interesting note: If you stop at around 16-18 seconds, you can see what may be the Blue Spirit (people who have seen the series know what I'm talking about) .. it's a very quick glance though.

One other problem I have is Fire Benders not being able to produce their own fire. :/ Other than that.. I am looking forward to it.
