If they were showing off 3d stuff, chance they are running at more than 30fps is high. On ps3, 30fps is possible to increase the graphics, but on pc, I don't understand why they would cap it.
I'm trying to understand how my comment proves that I have blind faith or faith at all in Square Enix -- you can back off and quit trying to make personal stabs just to take higher ground in every argument you instigate.
I just don't want a ridiculous 30 fps cap on the PC platform. It's understandable on the PS3 (BC2 is a good example), it's a decent balance for the console's capabilities, but capping a customizable platform like the PC would anger me.
EDIT:Wait what? -- no, similar logic DOESN'T apply. Consoles are meant to create a balanced platform to play video games with. PC is -supposed- to be a platform with room to improve, and with games that can improve at a scale the user can utilize their new upgrades with -- usually a higher framerate or higher textures and resolution. Since when was the PC NOT about improvement? You want balanced performance? Get a console. Similar logic doesn't exist when it comes to performance.Originally Posted by Kaelan?

bah, double post
One last question may be, like FFXI will you be able to move in game data, aka macros, back and forth between platforms?
it's in 6 hours, going to sleep now, if someone could sum up 5 questions for me prz.
Too late probably.
Ask him, why SE posts on facebook and twitter but not on www.bluegartr.com.
BG help send an extraction team. I hate this expo. Anyway nothing new. Release date confirmed for both version by Tanaka and I got another beta account (offered to everyone)
i'd like that account!![]()
I'll take off your hands, no worries.
Same here. I have no beta ; ;
I would like it purleaselol prob way too late though.
Edit:- oh you said everyone not anyone lol
Oh just let him dual box in peace. Sheesh.
Bit longer post.
Got there a bit late, had to fight my way through fucking Naruto and Bleach cosplayers (and a topless Tifa), missed like 5-10 minutes.
Spoiler: show
As I got here they were showing a party of 3 players doing a guildleve on Crabs(I think) in LL
Spoiler: show
then they displayed the ATB system for a few minutes
Spoiler: show
and finally they showed the E3 video once again (epic shivers with such a sound system.)
Spoiler: show
At this point Tanaka got on the scene and only 2 questions were asked (kinda expected them letting us to ask questions but w/e)
Spoiler: show
Q1. When will XIV be released?
Tanaka. September 30th for PC, with an early access for Collector's Edition owner, PS3 will have to wait until March 2011.
Q2. I heard you have a surprise for attendees?
Tanaka. Every attendee can go to our booth and claim a beta access.
And then everyone kinda rushed to SE booth, took me 30 minutes to find it.
Spoiler: show
And finally the girl took our e-mails and registred them on a FF14 page (the same type as FFXIClopedia and ZAM were.), but the website clearly stated the slots were guaranteed.
Spoiler: show
She said we'd get an email really soon that would include the steps to complete to get our new beta accounts.
Booth was really full of people and I couldn't stand the weeboos so I rushed to the exit after that. (don't think any of the person at the SE booth knew shit either, they were here for KH/FMA and shits more than 14.)
I'd like to say there was anything new but unfortunately no, I really wanted to check the whole 30/60 fps thing but their projector fucking sucked and they had no 14 booth.
Shitty pictures but I was rly far.
