These screenshots need its own thread.

-Little bit of story information under World->Story->Realm Divided. Talks of "The Echo", the power that allows adventurers to dabble in the past.

-Character creation preview under World->Races, pretty much what we've seen in Famitsu.

-New music playing in the backround.

-Meat the potatoes, though, is in the screenshot section. I'll edit them into this post after I'm done yoinking them all out, you're perfectly capable of seeing them for yourself though at the link below.

I dont see a problem with that. It identifies Salvator fanboys instantly. The same principle will apply to Sephiroth and Cloud clones. So in the future you can identify retards on sight.

new music is terrific. some of it even reminds me of FFVII more than anything else. Honestly can't wait to get in this game and start playing what i know will succeed as a great final fantasy game.

Makes me sad sometimes that FFXI never became something like WoW so more people could experience the storyline in XI.

Dear god.. some of those landscape screenshots are gorgeous. My poor comput- ok well, video card mostly.

Also, damn that bright light blocking out most of that dragon? in the one picture.

These are the screen shots I've been waiting for. I'm now officially excited about the game. I was going to get it when it was announced but now it's a sure thing. Here's hoping that many of us get into beta.

Edit: Yea when I saw these screen shots first thing I thought was I have to get a new video card lol.

Man, I've been worried about actually getting a beta code. My SE account is linked to the email I used to sign up to the newsletter, but I've yet to actually get one and attempting to re-register says I already have. Will suck missing out since all this has me curious.

Too bad the map is quite blurry, but that could be first glimpse of the world right there. Almost looks like it's not some full continent this time like in XI but the world is cut off from the middle, like in the map of ToAU.

EDIT: It actually looks a bit like Africa and the eastern part of the map looks like it's incomplete.. ohoho, we'll have to find out what's there.
