For the game we'll be using the rules from the 34B Edition of the game.
The game will start whenever more people sign and I'm not lazy.

Wamoura you say?
I would but Rocl banned me from IRC ;_;

Hmmm, purchase or pirate a PHB(Player's Handbook)... it's entirely referenced on some sites like this:Originally Posted by Remy0

Don't think it includes any of the "teaching" though.
(I was working on and off on a "Vana'diel" 3.5... don't think I'll finish it with me being busy with the wiki ;/).
Rocl stole my class ._. I can bullshit my way through as weaponmaster (can we use NWN pseudo-class things? :<)
Xajii - Greater turtle (Aspidochelone)
EDIT/CHANGE OF JUST AS PLANS: I'm leaning towards Half-Orc Druid. Raised in the woods because nobody likes fucking Half-Orcs, therefore has low INT and CHA and is very antisocial.
Some more game stuff:
Regarding IRC: I suggested this because it's AFAIK the best (only?) way to play these sorts of games online as it allows for real time communication between many people players and bots are fairly easy to setup to facilitate the "rolling" of dice. DM can also easily copy-paste in links to any maps/other images he wants and PM players with information that only they'd know. In some respects, this is superior to face-to-face gaming, for instance should a Rogue classed character be off by himself and find the treasure room of the dungeon, the character may be less than inclined to tell the rest of the group about it, and he's able to communicate with the DM about his actions completely anonymously. I've signed up #bgdnd on gamesurge (since it's the same server as #bluegartrls) in case we decide to use it.
Regarding new players and "learning to play." I don't know about how Tomiko usually runs a campaign, but in general once you're done making your character you don't need to know the rules all that well. In fact, I consider it better if you don't know. Be aware of what your feats/class abilites/spells/etc do and then just act how you feel your character would.
EDIT: That link BRP posted is really good.
I'd be interested, just let me know what times you're planning for it.
seems a little complicated.
You'll have to post a link to the rules we'll be using. <.< Or are we using the rules in that hyperlink d20 SRD link?
I'll play. Human Rouge wheeeee.
I'll be the awesome PLD equipped with the Helm of Disintegration.

Swim up Waterfall
This use of the skill allows a character to swim an angled or vertical surface, as long as he or she remains completely or mostly immersed in water. Other examples might include swimming up a whirlpool or an incredibly large wave.
Why can I accept a world of magic and fantasy, yet I view swimming up a waterfall as too unrealistic?

are we playing a non-ffxi inspired campaign or is :bagel:dochelone a playable character?
I'd be interested in joining in... once I learn how to use IRC. Would we just be using the SRD, or can we use other splatbooks? I've wanted to play a Crusader from Tome of Battle forever.
Otherwise I guess I could be the Cleric healbot or something.
