3% of 2000 hp (which is what most drks should be around after DS+drainII) is 60hp, more than double that of homam. it's, by far, the best piece in an hp build.. and missing 15 acc is not significant for feinted/zerged stuff.

60 HP is 32 more than Homam body. 32 more HP is 3.8 (I know, the game doesn't count decimals but just for the sake of illustration) damage per hit. If you hit 50 times (which you don't, except with Kraken Club) in the time that Blood Weapon is active, that's 190 damage. That's assuming you NEVER miss. Therefore, if you miss (which you will) ONE less time with Homam body, you're already dealt MORE damage with Homam than you would've with Ares. Not to mention the fact that if your Triple Attack goes off once (which it should, out of 50 hits), you've dealt another 600 more than you would with Ares.

This is assuming you're using a two-handed weapon. If you're using Kraken, the difference is even wider, because there's no fucking way you're parsing 95% (cap) accuracy with a 220 skill weapon and HP food/gear - even with Feint, you're hitting probably ~80% accuracy.
