Hello, TERA fans!
Our office in Seattle is filled with excitement and energy as we prepare for TERA’s very first closed beta test this weekend! To make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible, we are hosting a “dress rehearsal” test tonight. During this pre-test, players will be able to log in using the TERA beta client and help us with testing our server stability.
The dress rehearsal test will begin tonight, February 8, between 5:00PM and 8:00PM PST.
If you aren’t able to participate tonight, there is no need to worry! TERA’s first closed beta test officially kicks off this Friday, February 10, at 12:00 PM PST.
We’ve addressed questions you may have about this pre-test below:
Q: Why are you doing a “dress rehearsal test”?
A: The dress rehearsal test is to check all of the hardware and systems to run the closed beta test as smoothly as possible. Conducting this test will help our first closed beta test on February 10th.
Q: Can I help? How do I participate?
A: If you are able to log into TERA during the dress rehearsal test hours tonight, you could help us for the big weekend.
Q: I can’t participate tonight because I have work/need to sleep/don’t have time/don’t have TERA ready to play/don’t have the key, etc.
A: No worries! This is just a pre-test to help us prepare for this weekend’s first closed beta test which starts in just two days on February 10.
Q: When does the first closed beta test start? What hours will it be available?
A: Our first closed beta test starts at 12:00 PM PST this Friday, February 10, and ends at 11:59 PM PST on Sunday, February 12. We have a total of five closed beta tests scheduled, be sure to review TERA’s beta test schedule for details:
