    Weird NJ

Alright, so this is my last week of work and the following week is my last week in NJ for a bit so I wanted to go out to some weird and creepy places before I went back to florida. Anyone ever visit some insane asylums etc? My friends have gone to the gates of hell and said it wasn't anything special, and the same friend went to Eastern State on Halloween and on a random other night and said it wasn't scary.

I want to go to Greystone mental institution but I heard you're arrested on site if they catch you there.

Anyone have any experience with any place here in NJ or even down in southern Florida?

Shit fucking sucks. They were filming in Miami while I was in school. As soon as I come back to NJ they are filming here. Dumb bitch snooki got arrested for public intoxication. apparently she was trying to get on a bike while drunk. but that's besides the point of this thread.

I've been to the Gates of Hell and Devil's Tower, kind of meh. Also been to the Jim Leeds house (not sure if thats the right name, "Jersey Devil" house). If you're looking for an abandoned Insane Asylum there is one in Marlboro.

Weird NJ sucks. Stay away from gravity hill.

If you really want to get scared of shit in New Jersey, just walk around Newark or Jersey City after midnight.

Go explore the Pine Barrens at night. That will get your mind playing tricks on you.

I had a friend (who lives in the Deptford area) try to come visit me in Mount Laurel. I told him to take 295 North to Exit 43. Somehow, he got lost in Camden.

You don't stop at red lights in Camden if you wanna make it out alive.

Also, this was the place we used to always go to at 2am when i was in high school. Scary as all fuck because it's so dark and the whole rumor of the guy that owns the house at the top of the hill will come out with his shotgun and scare you.

I live a little south of Deptford and work in Mount Laurel, and I have no idea how that would ever be possible lol. Maybe he took 42 a little too far?

But seriously, go to Camden if you're looking to get scared out of your mind.

I live just far enough away from Camden to be able to sleep comfortably at night.

See you don't get it. I don't want to go to some shady part of town to get a good kick, I would rather go somewhere where I won't get killed.

Yeah, I told him to keep left to merge onto to 295 but he's an idiot. At like 1 AM I got a call that he spent that whole time trying to get out of Camden.

Camden is a really scary place for all the wrong reasons. I had a friend who opted to go to Rutgers and live in Camden. He was so excited until he got the shit beaten out of him selling cocaine. He transferred up to New Brunswick after that.

Apple Pie hill is pretty cool, but it's hardly scary. Look for any of the stories about the Pine Barrens and go at night. It will be pretty creepy no matter what.
