I just don't like that I always have to look for the "official" trail to get to a new zone that I can clearly see right in front of me, with a 3-foot-gradation in terrain. Reminds me way too much of XI-XIV, although this game has gentle slopes and not as many outright cliffs.
I value my freedom, and invisible walls greatly restrict that freedom and always force me to go exactly where the developer wants me to go. Its bad enough that most MMOs have a quest system that pushes the player along in a single direction; I don't like having the actual world environment doing the same.
Crafting question for anyone who might know. How does one eventually plus up items? Like say, Lance +2 or something. That's where the real good stuff is at right? Most recipes I see allow me to make weapons I have that are slightly worse or equal to currently equipped.
^ Good question. I was wondering how to actually get to use the bonuses on my identified items.
That's not crafting, it's enchanting. You look for items with similar tier and you use that amount of tier worth of enchanting powders that you buy from general merchants. You bring up the menu with T. I had posted a guide somewhere in the forums, but it's prolly lost by now. ;3
I got in through IGN's beta code, if i pre order this weekend will i get to keep that character for the coming tests or start over?
This the Franchise that was in Poisoned?
Yes o_o
Client question. I tried to copypasta a client from one computer to the other. The folder I found was simply called "client" in my C:/Users/Public file and was around 17gb in size, definitely enough for this game. However, I woke up this morning to see that my computer is STILL patching the game. I have 2 more computers that need this game and I can't deal with another day of patching. Does anyone know where the other files are or is there an additional step after copying that 1 "Client" folder?
Resolved
plus, I was missing key .dll filescopied the TERA I downloaded onto my Laptop to my Desktop because my Desktop encounters various problems trying to install and patch TERA. What I did is this:
1. Uninstall TERA on my Desktop
2. Re-download the Launcher Installer
3. Re-install TERA Launcher with the "Launch TERA at exist" option UNCHECK
4. Run TERA Launcher once and close it when it asks for Login information
5. Copy the TERA folder from my Laptop to my Desktop
6. Run TERA Launcher on my Desktop and everything works fine
is this game as grindy as other korean MMOs?
Is there anything like a TERA wiki for what drops where?
^Not yet I don't think, but BG is starting one :D
Bawse. Open world 25+ I think.
Is there a way to remove keybinds? I can remap things to a new key but I can't seem to delete them. Some of the binds I don't want at all, and I'd like to free up the keys.
