Synopsis:

THE FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. no Marvel doesn't have the rights back, Fox kept them(but lost Daredevil).
I don't see why they would share a universe with X-Men, unless they have plans to build it into the larger Marvel universe with some agreement with Disney/Marvel. Though I'm sure Disney secretly hopes all Fox's movies fail so they can get the rights back.

I just want to see a good FF movie, specifically with someone who isnt so god awful as Dr. Doom/

Fox wants some of that avenger's money. I think its a good idea that studios are starting to come around to the idea that continuity matters .. if that's the case.

In terms of accuracy the Human Torch was probably one of the best characters, since he's a hothead(TEEHEE) and was portrayed well. Like Selamis I like Julian McMahon as an actor but I'm gonna really just blame his Doom performance on the script tbh, and anything good about him was destroyed in that god awful sequel.

Honestly I was never a big Fantastic Four fan, I enjoyed the concept and superhero groups tend to always have some good conflicts within themselves if written correctly(Batman and crew is a good example) but compared to the other comic heroes I wasn't really drawn to Fantastic Four. But to have a movie centered around several comic book superheroes you need REALLY good writing, and Avengers only really pulled that off because they didn't push a love story that cuts into the running time and leaves less room for character development. We know that the next Fantastic Four movie will have Reed and Sue going at it again so meh. If Fox wants to just throw away money there are alot of other superheroes that could use a movie. Like the Black Lightning, starring Denzel Washington.

Behold, the worst piece of dialogue in the second Fantastic Four movie. I winced from the sheer ham and cheese.

General Hagen: No you don't understand. So let me make it clear for you and your pack of freaks here. I'm the quarterback. You're on my team, got it? But I guess you never played football in high school, did you Richards?
Reed Richards: No, you're right, I didn't. I stayed inside and studied, like a good little nerd. And fifteen years later, I'm one of the greatest minds of the 21st century, I'm engaged to the hottest girl on the planet, and the big jock who played quarterback in high school? Well he's standing right in front of me asking me for my help. And I say he's not gonna get a damn thing, unless he does exactly what I tell him, and starts treating my friends and me, with some respect.
