Yes!!!!!!!!
I've only played VLR... I'm normally not a VN type of guy but that game got me. I will need to play this.
I am excited
Wow. Just last year they were saying there was no hope for a third game since the second did so poorly and they did that Operation Bluebird thing. I'll take it, though!
afaik the game did fine here in the west, I think its just in Japan where it didn't do so hot so... maybe the west saved the series?
A Few Details from Anime Expo
https://twitter.com/JustinMikos
- 4infinity means Mars Infinity.
- The leaked words on the 4infinity website four months ago were just a test. Fans should disregard them.
- Zero Escape 3 will take place in a base where people train to go to Mars.
- Development just started.
- Fan enthusiasm encouraged reevaluation of Zero Escape 3 and allowed it to enter production.
- In previous games Uchikoshi-san wanted people to question common sense. In this game he wants gamers to question their own values.
- Puzzle creation will be done by Uchikoshi-san’s staff.
- Danganronpa writer Kazutaka Kodaka (who was present at the panel as well) knows the ending of Zero Escape 3 and said it is “out of this world.” It inspired him to be less lazy. He exchanges ideas with Uchikoshi-san often.
- Kodaka-san would like to team up with Uchikoshi-san and make a game together.
I was devastated when this was allegedly stuck in development hell; glad to see it's going to see the light of day. 999 and VLR were refreshingly good games.
I think this sums up the reaction:
New info was recently released.
The new title is "Zero Time Dilemma" and release is still set for Summer of 2016.

I get a big steampunk vibe from the logo and teaser art.
Can't wait. I only played Zero's Escape like two months ago and loved it so much. The series is just too amazing.
I only played VLR but I got way more into it than I expected considering that VNs aren't my bag.
I'm actually surprised that I'm looking forward to this. For the first time ever, I understand the hype behind a VN. Glad its gonna happen.
Err of course I meant VLR too, names got jumbled in my head
Info time! Character backgrounds and some shots have been released, watch out because some of them could be considered spoilers from previous game:

Nice to see better than the Famitsu scans from a week(or two?) ago!
EDIT: I love the team "names" spell out "CQD" which is the morse code distress call that was used before "SOS"
If that last picture in the link is inengine then I'm rather pleased with how the characters will look this time around. VLR's were too bright and cartoony which went against the theme a bit.
It appears a little budget-stricken but I can look past wonky animations and lip-sync. Dual-audio has been confirmed as well, although I quite liked the English dub for VLR, so I hope the same will be for ZTD.
