    ad block plus?

My ad block plus was auto disabled by firefox because of an alleged security risk.

Anyone else get this? and are there any fixes for it? I just got a fucking ad on youtube

When I started FF ABP updated itself. Works perfectly, @ ver. 2.6.10

It's borked on Palemoon. Not sure why I even use it over Firefox anymore, as I'm told FF is much better with RAM usage nowadays.

ah; I use palemoon. I just call it FF since all the same shit works on it, etc.

Haven't used FF in years but if it's improved maybe I'll jump back over

Adblock edge? (Fork of ABP without that "acceptable ads" crap)

I've switched to uBlock Origin since it was shown that ABP uses a huge amount of memory in both chrome and FF.

Just going off of my first day of usage, FF is definitely much snappier than Palemoon now, and with uBlock installed over ABP, RAM usage is literally 40%~ of what Palemoon takes up now... not sure if Palemoon team has the resources to keep up nowadays, but I was pretty shocked at how much they've fallen behind in 1-2yrs.

The only thing worth noting is that I think you have to disable/remove that new DRM plugin that FF installs by default to use Youtube ripping add-ons.
