Thanks. I was just doing Akvan for a friend, but I put together my own shouts for the most part. As a returning player, it sucks that, with a lot of VW fights, I'm drawing from a small pool of potential players that dwindles as I do more runs and people get the drops they want.

You can use the new Delve hands, that 13% cure potency is really nice.

You still need Heka's/Nefer to be able to use Chatoyant over Arka though.

Yeah have those and now thankfully have Nares too (3% more than the slacks I was using!). I still have my hopes up that one day, Akvan will put out, hoping sooner than later!

Don't really have pics but today I got my first 2 wins of NNI. Super smooth runs, picked up Thaumas Coat, Nares Trews and won Nares Cap freelot. Great day!

You dont actually, at some point chatoyant bonus becomes better than adding more cure potency (~36% maybe? been a while since i figured it up). Can hit that without heka/nefer. Nefer at the very least is worth the cash, though.

that said I dont regret paying ~16M for my heka's.

EDIT: if i'm reading my spreadsheet right its 38% (and since chatoyant has 10% already you'd really only need 28% (I think ... it's bedtime for me so 50 chance i'm totally wrong))

You forgot to mention that's assuming being a good SCH and keeping Aurorastorm on yourself...! (I often neglect that myself btw) I think you're right though, 38% total without counting weather/Iridescence bonus!

I barely use aurorastorm myself. It usually isnt needed for most events i attend. Generally regen5 and the occasional cure3 is ez mode. the comparison made was arka vs chatoyant though. There is absolutely no reason to use chatoyant over arka if you dont have weather.

No reason not to use nefer though, you're right about that.

There is absolutely no reason to not aurastorm yourself unless you're there to nuke or it's Lightsday/weather already.

If you can cap 50% cure potency with Chatoyant there is no reason to carry around Arka.

I do cap enmity very easily in long fights in my max cure potency aurora storm set. A more -enmity focused set using af3 body may be a good idea, idk.

I would like to see what exact swaps you make. If you can only respond with "you could swap in af3 body idk" then you were obviously lying about swapping in more enmity in other slots. I want you to actually quantify your statement by saying what specific enmity swaps you add into your set and how much -enmity it gives. As you stated you do this already it shouldn't be hard for you to post it.
Unless you were bullshitting and were just trying to find an argument to cover up the fact you're just too lazy to keep up one more self-buff on yourself.

Basically throughout this little exchange you've said:
Most of the content you do is so easy you only need regen5 and cure3.
Because of that you don't bother keeping up aurastorm fulltime.
That lets you put more -enmity into your cure set [for this easy content where enmity wont matter].
On hard content you keep aurastorm up fulltime anyway.

Seriously, would have been quicker and easier just to admit "I'm lazy". Idk why people have such trouble admitting their weaknesses online. People tend to think less of you when you try and make up some rubbish to cover up instead of just admitting the truth.
