German site Mein-MMO.de has stated that indicates NCSoft will be releasing Blade & Soul in either North America or Europe in 2014.

While we'd all love this to be true, we reached out to Lincoln Davis, NCSoft Director, Corporate Communications who confirmed that this simply NOT the case. Blade & Soul is now anticipated to be released in North America and the EU sometime in 2015.


And in other news, while this is still a rumor... it seems that Blade & Soul 2 is under development.

Ok this might not be anything, but Ncsoft is now hiring a Senior Community Manager and a Senior Brand Manager for Blade and Soul.

Over in Korea Ncsoft has announced the new class "The Warlock", coming on Dec.17th.

The lack of an actual healing class hurt the game just as much as the delayed release in the west. I enjoyed what i played and thought the combat was infinitely better action combat than Tera, but it was still lacking. It's by far my favorite action combat of any MMO and i'm not really a fan on action combat.

lol, hard to be excited about that when Black Desert is already announced to be coming to the west next year. In terms of eye candy... BD is better in terms of everything and that includes boobs.
That aside, it looks to me to be the better game overall.

Tough sell.

This game lost all the hype it had with the two fucking year+ delay on bringing this over. I don't even know why they're bothering at this point, same with PSO2 (especially the latter when the fan translation is so well done).

As for content in Korea B&S has added a LFG and a LFR system making it even easier to find groups, and has added a new 24 man raid called "Night Of The Wind Plains".




Also there are rumours that the Community Managers for B&S in NA have been filled.

There was a leak on a Korean website 2 weeks ago that B&S was coming to the West in 2015, and Ncsoft would do a re-launch at E3 this year, they even said there was a English trailer all ready to go. The leak was quickly taken down and now there are just rumours and speculation.


If you check out the E3 exhibitors, it does clearly show that Ncsoft will be showing a MMO, and NCsoft hasn't been to E3 in years.

So I wonder what Ncsoft will be showing at E3. Maybe it will finally be B&S, again this is just speculation.

They still have an English trailer (or used to) from years ago when they were originally pushing to release then. Seems strange that they are going to try and restart the hype train but perhaps there is still a large fan base that's been simmering for this.

So apparently there was another leak, this time from a Carbine/NCsoft employee. No confirmation wither the leak was legit or not but it did say Blade and Soul was currently in friends-and-family testing within NCsoft for a US release.

I don't know why they added a fighting element to it. Should've just made it an H-game and called it a day. The exact same people who are going to buy it as is would have bought it as an H-game.

dunno black desert looks more apealing to me then this, the female character looks totally out of place for me proportion wise and i cant dig the look.
