Unless the Illusive man was bullshitting when he said he wanted to save humanity, I doubt Cerberus would want to kill off humanity's only chance at survival.

I think he cares about humanity to a point... that point being when he can make some money. Even if Shepard is humanity's only hope, Shepard crossed the Illusive Man and potentially (and actually) cost him billions or more. Not only that, if you destroy the collectors base, the Illusive Man could reason that because you did that, you jeopardized humanity's only chance of survival... so that's pretty good motive.

I think if you talk to Miranda after suicide, she'll say you did the right thing by destroying the base, and it seems like she's on your side. Hell, if she's with you when you set the nuke, she cuts off the Illusive Man. I'm convinced she's with you.

Lol, I dunno why I never keep the base, but one of these days I'm gonna man up and do it just so I have a save that does. I like Ashley's new look, I mean, it isn't going to make me want to hit that any more (cause she' goddamn annoying), but I like that she's changed.

I can live without Tali tbh, makes sense she might not be around for Shepard's epic adventures because of the whole Quarian vs Geth thing. But I get Liara back, so it's all good. Garrus is still around, so that's awesome.

If I can have team Garrus and Wrex again, I'll be so happy.
