Didn't they ask about it in those SE questionnaires way back when? I feel like I definitely heard about an official FFXV forum

dick so hard. Really nice physics and animation.
PLEASE PC release
Damn. im so stoked.
I know MMOs are different beasts...but...the fact XIV runs off a branched version of this engine really makes me wonder just how much better XIV 1.x woulda been if they did the same thing.

Is that third pic a Naga? Bout time those showed up again, in a FF.
ME WANT PC VERSION NOW
So ready to get back into single player Final Fantasies.
Is XIII worth playing? It seems interesting but looks like an open-world FF7 with a shorter story and annoying battle system.
So RE4 meets DMC meets FF. ugh. Story looks so interesting too.
I had fun playing it and the story was great in its completion (the other games) yes it's a bit linear but you can't condemn it a bad game. Playing the second game was great as well cause you connected with the other characters in the first game. Seeing Vanille and fang again was tearful to me.
XIII wasn't too bad really. Basically, XIII is a typical FF game without a lot of backtracking and overworld travel (XIII-2 is more akin to a less open world Chrono Trigger.) I didn't play Lightning Returns much so can't comment on that. The games are fine as an RPG but the style is very different from the typical FF narration, but at its core it's extremely FF. Story Wise you'll have to read the datalogs in XIII to get the full story, which are usually what you'd get from NPCs in random shithole towns the plot never takes you to in other FF games.
So really, XIII is good to get introduced to the world and characters, XIII-2 has the better gameplay and story is more what you'd expect of a X+ era FF game, XIII-3 is..again no idea lol.
13-3 was just a shit show but it finished the story. Great ending tho.
I don't even. Ran that shit 100% on this 5 year old machine. Do you even Nvidia bruh?
Also, I hate those Tunnel comparisons people keep mentioning about XIII. The majority of post PS FF's have all been linear to some extent, some more than others, yes even the most popular ones (X shit only finally opens up after getting to Zanarkand). The problem is the story doesn't engage you and it makes you disproportionately focus on the games linearity. It also didn't help it had Zero fucking distractions like previous titles along the way. And the characters certainly I could give a shit about, so bland. Haven't played the sequels, but will get around to it.
Will be very stoked when this is announced for PC though.
Edit: Is XIII linear? Yes. Is it the main problem with the game? No. Does it get better when it does open up? Arguably, no. It's basically a race to the finish line, unless you decide to do all the side missions, and 100% the game.
