Also 1984 Arnie too as an opponent! I suspect he's just there to show off the same tech in Salvation though, where he'll promptly get blown up, just to show us how far the current (aging) T-800 has developed.

T1: Judgement day is coming and I'm from the future.
T2: We stopped Judgement day.
T3: Actually it turns out we delayed Judgement Day because it's inevitable.
T4 Salvation: Judgement day happened, though things aren't quite how we thought since we delayed it, thereby making the machines more advanced.
T5 Genysis: Um.. T4 never happened or something, or it was an alternate timeline, or ya let's go with alternative timeline... oh and we CAN stop Judgement Day.

I had zero interest in this movie before watching the trailer, but after I'm 100% in. Looks like a cluster fuck of a story but man will it be exciting!

Looks like a steaming pile of garbage, but I do love Arnold, so I'll probably wait til it hits the discount theaters before seeing it, that way if it is as bad as it sounds, I won't be as mad about wasting money on it.

All I got out of it was that the time John Connor sent him back to, that exact time line, doesn't exist anymore so it looks like he got sent to a parallel time? So in the new time line Arnold never died (as he did in T2) and is again the good guy.

Looks like a cluster fuck, but entertaining. Also Emile Clark looks too young to play Sarah...
