Bungie’s Destiny to Feature SpeedTree
Destiny, Bungie’s highly anticipated mythic science-fiction action universe, will integrate SpeedTree for Games into its futuristic worlds to enhance one of the title’s artistic themes of nature ascending over mankind’s lost worlds.
“We’re very pleased that Bungie chose to feature SpeedTree in Destiny’s unique vision of overgrown futuristic worlds,” notes Michael Sechrest, President of SpeedTree developer Interactive Data Visualization, Inc. “Bungie had very specific needs and challenges for Destiny, including scalability from current to next-generation hardware. SpeedTree was designed with these sorts of requirements in mind.”
Destiny is being developed by Bungie, is published by Activision Publishing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, and is one of the most anticipated games for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, and Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.
Developed by critically-acclaimed developer Bungie, creators of the blockbuster Halo series , Destiny casts players as Guardians of the last city on Earth, who will traverse the ancient ruins of our solar system wielding incredible power to reclaim all that was lost during the collapse of mankind’s Golden Age. Destiny’s saga unfolds through grand tales and sweeping adventures by immersing gamers in a bold new world filled with cooperative, competitive, public, and social activities, all seamlessly connected in a persistent online universe.

Can't wait for E3
Reports like this concern me:

Then again, if it is in-fact like an MMO, then maybe it'll take cues from XI and be the exception. Otherwise, seems like it'd suck if you were restricted to just playing with people on the same system as you -- especially since it comes out after the PS4/XB1 are released.
This shit needs to be cross platform. It's gonna be coming out in a time where everybody and their friends are fractured between 4 systems. That's just not gonna work.
I will be getting it on next-gen for certain. No way I am wasting a year playing it on last-gen to be angry at myself years down the road (assuming its amazing and I play it for years).
i pre-ordered it for ps4 when the ps4 pre-orders came out, the Law of the jungle speech wasn't selling for me tho :/ cgi looks pretty decent
Yeah, that teaser sucked balls.
Gameplay (Finally) to be Shown at Sony's E3 Conferencehttp://www.vg247.com/2013/06/05/dest...e3-conference/We’ll finally get our first proper look at Bungie’s new IP in action during Sony’s E3 2013 press conference.
Bungie announced iw will show Destiny gameplay at Sony’s E3 press conference on the shared world shooter’s Twitter account. It had promised a reveal at the trade show, but had not indicated when and where to tune in. Now you know.
Although the project was formally unveiled in February – after leaking like a sieve for literal years – it has not yet been seen in action except behind closed doors; some press who attended the reveal are yet to see it. The only public release to date is a tiny snippet from a longer trailer.
It will be an important event for the team; it’s the first new project from Bungie since exiting Microsoft and Halo, which is a heck of a reputation to live up to, and Activision has invested heavily in the franchise in potentia.
Destiny is expected in 2014 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One with other platforms, like PC, not yet ruled out and the possibility of cross-save.
Destiny also made a star appearance at the PlayStation 4 reveal, suggesting Activision and Sony are quite pleased with each other at the moment.
