Hit 40 on my Justicar. Nothing I can spend points on in the next 10 levels is that interesting. There are two spells left in the tree to get, both are kinda eh. My other trees don't really offer a lot either. So bleh.

PvP is so unbalanced it's nuts. But I wasn't doing too terribly in Whitefall on my Justicar (though I was on my healer/cabalist) because I could carry the sourceshard pretty well. But man, that mana drain is OP as fuck from dominators. Nerf nerf nerf please!

Really can't say I enjoy pvp on mage all that much, but it may be due alot to the fact I'm not really familiar with its abilities. Feels like if I get focused at all, I can't survive through it on my chloro at all. Use all my heal cds, and if they can get rid of my transmogrify I'm toast. Doesn't help that so far every group I've been with on defiant side has sucked really really badly. Just did a black garden where we ended the match with 10 points and they had us hiding up on the ledge before you jump down into the pit.

edit: and I just had a codex run where 80% of my wf group sat at the codex for the entire game -_-

Fix my fucking Marksman so i'm not completely useless in PVP or PVE. I play bard like 99% of the time since it's more useful to a group, and the only other viable rogue soul is Sab which doesn't interest me.

Sure it's ok for 1 or 2 expert dungeons bosses where you don't want any melee in range, but it's so far behind warriors, pyro's, and some cleric builds dps wise, that i feel fucking useless asking to play it.

Random complaints from my first Rift weekend:

    1) The "open all bags" command only visibly opens 3 of my 5 bags. The other 2 are hidden behind the first 3. Annoying.

    2) Quest variety. Only gotten to 16, but so far it's all the same. I get it, this is an MMO, "go to x and kill y of z" is the golden standard. I still would have liked to see a few quests involving vehicles, or escort, or something to break up the monotony once in awhile.

    3) This isn't as big of a deal because it's a player base thing, but during Rifts I feel like I'm back in old school Valkurm Dunes where I'd give my left nut to have a healer in the party. Seriously, one healer in the group changes a rift invasion from being a series of corpse runs to an easy kill. I guess people don't like playing Clerics, but I've also heard their contributions aren't as high. If that rumor is true they need to fix it to encourage people to heal.

    4) Unless I walk on the roads, getting places is like running in a minefield. There are aggressive monsters everywhere, and as other people have mentioned their aggro range is stupid large despite me being able to one-shot them.

    5) If there's a flight point system I haven't encountered it yet. Pretty annoying having to run everywhere but maybe I just don't know about it.

Is this a woosh? You can just drag your bags to wherever on the screen so they dont cover each other. You dont have to go to UI Layout or anything, just hold left mouse button on the title bar of that bag and drag it. =)

Obviously, but the next time I go to open my bags they've reset their positions and I have to drag them apart again.

Oh, thats really odd then, because that has never happened to me after i moved them. Sorry about that ^^

Some of the quests do differ later on aswell. Not all of them are go kill x mob an amount of times. But at the higher levels this is actually a hinderance aswell since you still only get around 5k exp, so mob killing is your bigger source of exp anyways.

Rifts can be funny but you can solo Minor ones as dps aswell, look out for the crystals on the floor, Orange = more DPS, Blue = More Mana Regen, Green = Massive HP regen. They help a lot and can stack too. Major ones you will need a healer but as a healer i only ever get gold contribution, so anyone who told you Clerics can't get good contribution sucks as a healer.

There are teleports called Porticulums (splol?) Which can teleport around the world, being only 16 you won't have found the main ones yet other then possible Meridian one but it can't teleport you anywhere.

My complaint is the fact that Macros don't update themselves with your new spell, and i only found this out like yesterday. So all of my mouse over healing macros were 2-4 ranks out of date...

3)Contribution for a healer is fucking awesome... if you're the only one healing. I can solo heal my raid group on major rifts rather easily at my level, but if there is ONE other healer, we both get shit for contribution since it's really the fastest spammer to win. It's the only reason I don't heal in rifts, way simpler to just spam my melee dps on my shaman/justicar and get gold anyway.

5)There are porticulums, but they only take you from one zone to the next, so from Freemarch to Stonefield and so on. It is kind of annoying to run around, but everything is still only 5-6 minutes apart.

Getting knocked off my mount in Silverwood still...

Mobs that open up with a fucking 4 second stun, or mobs with knockback.

Oh yeah, Invisible mobs 50% of the time, especially in instances, is shit.

Probably my biggest complaint, and it's such a tiny thing that can annoy you so much.

I don't think aggro range is an issue at all. It's not that hard in most places to get around without aggro. Dismount sucks big nuts though.

My biggest complaint so far are the quests. They pretty much all suck, there isn't much lore to them so it's hard for me to get immersed in them, and the xp doesn't seem to scale very well as you increase level. Run to map marker, kill something, pick up something, run back, rinse & repeat. I was so happy when I discovered the little icon that allows you to use quest items w/o having to even open your bag.

I basically just do quests inbetween guild activities, but I'd kill myself if that was my main way of leveling. Good thing Rift has options.

If you have a quest that requires you to use an item, there will be a button for the item on the quest tracker for that particular quest.

Yeah I really like the MM and Ranger, but if I want to feel useful in PvP I have to play as Sab. Gets kind of boring after awhile having to play the same shit all the time to feel useful. Starting to feel like FFXI all over again. But I don't think they really need a buff as much as other classes need a slight nerf. Riftblades and Sabs are pretty ridiculous. I have more fun playing Sab as a utility based class using bombs and traps and stuff more than I like blowing people up with charges. I wish they would take the soul more into the traps and bombs direction and make it more utility based as right now it plays more like a demolitionist than it does a saboteur.

    -easily dismounted
    -no guild bank
-complete clusterfuck of monsters and fast respawns making it impossible to quest
-LACK OF BAG SPACE FOR ALL THESE FUCKING QUEST ITEMS

The fast respawns will calm down some later on, I believe in the second zone it was much more reasonable. They seem to have made them super fast at low levels because they were afraid of overcrowding, but now that (I'm guessing) the area has cleared out some, it's probably way over-the-top.

And bag space at low levels does suck. First character is the hardest, on alts you'll be able to give yourself some decent sized bags at least. You can look into the Silken Bags on the AH, last I checked on my server they were around 70g and they are 14 slots. While probably expensive for a beginner, I believe that is a better deal than the bags you can buy off the vendor?
