So then what are open world raid rifts (10 man) categorized as? what tier of gear in progression... is it t2.5? There are significantly more 10 man open world raids then 20 man raids atm (there is only 1) so it has to have a bulk of the gear

lol i have no idea, I'd think that 20man raids are a tier above 10man raid rifts though, so raid rifts = t1.75!

Account got jacked while I was at work today. I don't really care about my stuff being stolen, people tell me that they got their stuff back pretty quickly. What I'm concerned about is how they even got my password to log into my account. I always have noscript running, and I have a pretty sophisticated antivirus program thats been rated #1 by a lot of people. On top of that, the only site that I've gone to that has anything to do with rift since I started playing is riftjunkies. So confused

edit: according to people in VI, inactive email accounts on battle.net were leaked? It would make sense since I really don't know how else I got a keylogger on my computer. My email for battle.net and rift are the same.

sucks, should get rolled back though. Only thing I can say it to make your password include uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and @*#!^$$) stuff and change it often.

Yeah my password is random.. Pretty much did the equivalent of facerolling my keyboard for it.

There's no brute force protection right now, so once they get your username/e-mail they can just keep trying. Trion needs to disable login after 5-10 attempts or something, or geoauthenticate like bank websites do.

Trion has been pretty quick getting people their gear back though.

Raid Rifts are mainly for epic essences, the gear is above expert 5mans/rifts and below 20man gear.

All complaints should be posted in Rift forums, they DO read them. Anyways, no auto-run to target and no auto sort for inventory.

Auoto run to target, do not want. That would only encourage botting more and make pvp less strategic. I'd rather have a distance to target number somewhere.

I'm always one step ahead on outfitting.. it's rather annoying. Just as I finish a zone where I can only loot linen, and move onto silk, my outfitting has reached the next tier. fuck.

You know, I got a strange email about my bnet account the other day. While I didn't click on the link it had (duh), I wound up changing my password just in case.

Speaking of which, what's with these b-net emails? I keep getting them in my junk folder but i don't recall ever making a b-net account. I haven't clicked on any links but i assume they're phishing scams and not actual official emails.

they are scams I know a lot of people who have gotten those emails without a bnet account.

You would have registered for one btw if you've played wow in the last year, or SC2

Yea, the emails keep saying something about inappropriate use of my b-net account, blizzard saying my account might be hacked, that it's buying gold, that it was caught being sold, etc.

Very annoying.

The only thing that had me scratching my head about the email was that it came to my primary account that I use only for official sign ups for things I might use a credit card on and such. I've got a yahoo spam one for most basic junk. While it's not unheard of a bot got lucky with my name configuration or managed to harvest the list from somewhere, it was just one message, not flagged as spam, and seemed a lot more legit than the ones I'd get on my yahoo account. Basically it warned my account had been locked out due to repeat access attempts. I don't know if they do that, but that doesn't sound like an unreasonable warning.

I'm having problems with my second action bar. Whenever I log out, when I log back in its empty. And one time when I got a new ability it cleared itself. Do I need to save it or something to keep this from happening? Didn't seem to happen til the patch but I never had a full bar til then either so idk if I'm retarded or its a bug.

I can never get on a winning team for codex as gaurdian... but I've only lost a few black garden's. White Steppe.. half and half, but usually everybody just tries to get kills and screws the team over anyway..


I want items that I equip to remember where they came from in my bags. I switch between 2hand mace and mace/shield often... hard to find it sometimes when its stacked in with all the other crap.

might be annoying, but can you put items on the action bar? so you can just click or press a key and it'll equip the item for you. that way you won't have to search through your bags.
