PETALUMA, Calif. - PETALUMA, Calif. (KTVU and wires) -- Petaluma police arrested a 19-year-old Sonoma County resident Tuesday on suspicion of offenses including stealing and selling a Caterpillar excavator estimated to be worth $40,000 in October, police have announced.

Dustin Diamond, the actor best known for playing Screech on “Saved by the Bell,” was arrested early Friday morning, December 26th following an altercation at a bar in Ozaukee County.

According to the Port Washington Police Department, officers responded to the Grand Avenue Saloon around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, December 25th for reports of a stabbing. Evidence gathered at the scene indicates that Diamond had stabbed another male patron and left the bar in a white SUV with his 27-year-old girlfriend. Officers quickly located the suspect vehicle and both were taken into custody.

The knife was recovered in Diamond’s vehicle.

If the kid is using his crutch or wheelchair as a weapon, yeah, I'd take it away too. A pool noodle is an adequate replacement for getting around safely and doesn't have the rigidity to inflict any harm on people he may continue to take swings at. Kids are dumb, and if he hasn't learned by now that his cane is a tool and not a toy, then taking it away is the next logical step to get it through his head.

Sending the noodle home is also a message to the parents that they need to do their job better. Obviously they do need to do it better if their kid is caning other kids. You can do some serious damage with those things.

A building collapse was reported at the Morton Salt campus Tuesday afternoon on the North Side.

A wall collapsed at the Morton Salt building at Elston and Potomac, Fire Media Affairs tweeted about 2:10 p.m.

No injuries were reported, according to fire media, though some cars at the nearby Acura dealership sustained some damage.

Morton Salt, whose company slogan is “When It Rains It Pours,” produces table and specialty salts, water softening products and ice melters, according to the company’s website.

The link to her tumblr is in the article, as well as the suicide note she posted there. I'm heartbroken reading this (yes it popped up on my feed this morning) because I just don't understand how parents cannot love and accept their children.

To be fair to the parents, she really was hit by a truck (probably jumped in front of it), and the suicide note was a scheduled tumblr post, so they may have made their little facebook post before the tumblr thing went off. The parents are still assholes for letting their religion torture their child and prevent them from accepting her as she was. Christian "therapists" should be illegal.
