I almost wanted to yell "AIR BEND, DAMN IT!" at Korra a couple of times during this episode. She'll probably focus on it more after that attack I'm sure. Lin was such a boss, probably could have taken that entire airship down herself. Also, was Tenzin eating popcorn or something? He could have easily air bended his ass up to the roof to help. I want to see him in action! Also, avatar state Aang looked mayad. So pumped for the next episode!!!

Amazing episode, I suppose it's a bit sad that the only thing that stuck with me was that the championship match was fucking rigged!

Great episode. My only complaint is that EVERY bender gets chumped by the equalists. Taser/chi blocking or not that shit shouldn't be happening.

Benders keep getting schooled by Equalists because the Equalist simply fight better. The Benders may know some martial arts, but they've relied mostly on their bending to exert their power. The Equalists know chi blocking, but have need to fight well just to apply it to a combat situation, and need to fight even better to match a bender's natural advantage.

This is why I was so impressed with Korra's fight against Amon's #2. Kid really can throw down.

My point is that not everyone should be getting overpowered. Bending immediately gives you an upper hand as it allows you to keep distance from them. Equalists can dodge any element thrown at them but no one can dodge a fucking snare? Most equalists are simply random citizens that have had enough of being pushed around by benders not people that have grown up learning martial arts. I understand they are trying to set them up as a serious threat but the fact that no one (metalbender cops, probenders, gangsters etc.) can do anything against them is dumb.

Also the fact that several of them have active sources of electricity strapped to them should be something a waterbender should be taking advantage of immediately.

The equalists that Amon sends to a huge attack like this are most likely not just people off the street. These were probably a lot of his best, most trained people, and Korra and Bei fong (sp) were still kicking the shit out of them. Most of the benders that got beat at the stadium (aside from the champion team) all got taken out by surprise attacks. Tenzen took someone out too before the other guy got him from behind.

The average equalist though, probably doesn't prove nearly as much of a threat to them, as proven by the episode with the task force. Korra, Tarlok, and some no names were kicking the shit out of them.

Water also probably wont do anything to hurt them either, one dude jabbed his shit into the water to electrocute Mako and them, didn't he?
