    Not sure how it would approximate it any better than doing WSs with RR.

    Okay, works for me!

    Also, I just parsed an 11% Parrying rate against DC mandies in Abyssea-Altepa with skill 30 levels under cap, which kind of violates my assumption that skilling Parrying is for chumps.

    Anyone has a Gastra90 or DeathPenalty90 to test ?

    After factoring in SC Bonus, Orthrus looks like he has a 93% MDT (Tested using Darkness SC; this is not a precise number, it's just to be clean). This, of course, assumes no resist or dy bonus negation (Wind, so if the damage was earth based, it's possible).

    Darkness: 258
    Benthic: 3830

    SC Bonus: 1.08

    Definitely not -93% MDT, Blizz5 landed for ~1880, no SS, just logs, and don't know where I was in terms of ugga/artemis/etc to work it out properly. Not sure what to say about the element the SC picked, but I'd guess darkness based on that, or just a random mega-resist.

    Yea, I've gone BLM to Orthus a few times and it's not that horrible. Seemed a bit higher than 50% imo, but that's just eyeballing.

    Figures. I'll probably need someone with pops to let me use Breath spells on the mob (Using ES) to detect SDT.

    It seems that Magic Fruit (Assuming all cures except Plen's because that has an element in resources xml) will take Efflux. Oddly, Magic Fruit will not take CA.

    Ravager+2 Set Testing
    Restraint and Ravager Mufflers test
    Those tests r old, but i remember were when i discovered KParser problem with wrong DA parsing :s so take those results with a grain of salt...

    Not sure if anyones done testing on this yet or if I'm doing something wrong but:

    Test: +3 Instrument; Victory March; Advancing; Advancing/Victory March

    Using 90BRD@761 combined skill w/90Ghorn and a naked DRK/SAM aside from weapon(to use Hasso)

    Results:

    Dread Spikes w/out Victory March
    180s

    Dread Spikes w/Victory March
    153s

    Dread Spikes w/Advancing March
    159s

    Dread Spikes w/Victory,Advancing March
    134s

    The first dread spikes test you ran (with just Hasso) is actually a really bad test because you're hitting the recast cap (255 seconds.) So if you're remarking about the non-linear results you obtained, that is why.

    So I did more tests and it may not be a surprise but skill no longer seems to effect anything as far as Advancing and Victory March are concerned

    @721 combined skill
    +0 March
    AM=167s
    VM=162s
    AVM=150s

    +1 March
    AM=164s
    VM=159s
    AVM=145s

    +2 March
    AM=162s
    VM=156s
    AVM=139s

    +3 March
    AM=159s
    VM=153s
    AVM=134s

    I tested +0, +1, +2 @652 combined skill (Unable to test this with +3 as Ghorn adds +40)

    All results were the same as at 721 combined skill, and there was no change from 721-761 combined skill for +3 March



    So I'm pretty sure I did the following wrong so if it is someone who knows what to do with the data please help me out lol.

    When adding separate values for A+V March+2=234/1024 (162/180=0.9 + 156/180=0.86*)
    When casted together A+V March+2=228/1024 (139/180=0.772*)
    Victory March alone=134/1024 (156/180=0.86*)

    When adding separate values for A+V March+3=267/1024 (159/180=0.883* + 153/180=0.85)
    When casted together A+V March+3=256/1024 (134/180=0.74*)
    Victory March alone=150/1024 (153/180=0.85)

    The data is in a handful of places, but yea, Victory March caps at a combined total of 600 skill. Each +March add potency of 16/1024. Everything stacks as expected and Gjallar marches are super cool~
