Things to do in Tokyo?

Headed to Tokyo in a few days for a couple of weeks. Already have plans to visit/see the Sky Tree, Kamakura, Studio Ghibli, the surrounding prefectures and possibly do some volunteering/rescuing cute bitches.

Any ideas/suggestions for anything specifically cool to see or do?

Akihabara - Many electronics and collectors shops there to pickup stuff.
Harajuku (Sunday is best) - Lots of cosplayers if that's what you're into, also decent shops and a temple/shrine to visit as well.

Electric Town is always fun since it's so goddamn big. Harajuku is always crowded with foreigners, so Takeshita St. should be very interesting this time around.

Sword Museum.

There's like a bajillion bus tours for Meiji Temple, Tokyo Tower, Akihabara, etc etc.

The science centre on the island is pretty neat.

Idk everything's in Tokyo, I like history.

Yep it's Miraikan. Big ferris wheel, Toyota racing display, indoor roman themed mall, couple things to do on the island.

I'm not gonna spoil nothing, but the JP's have some good taste in cars. I mean besides the shitboxes and commercial vehicles - Lots of evos, lots of 370z's, couple Miatas. I'm literally walking through the lot to Miraikan and I see, Evo 8, Evo 9

Go up Tokyo Tower. The place is absolutely decadent in its tackiness but the view is awesome.

All the towers in Japan seem to be tacky, I don't know why.

Sorry to derailthe thread, but it sounds like the situation in japan has cooled down. Hopefully that is true and if tourism isstill coming along it is actually great news to hear. I do plan to make a trip to akihabara sometime in the near future to let daigo whoop my ass. Lol
