It's those kind of MMO's that turn into F2P down the road, since they can't meet the playerbases expectations on content patches. Or MMO's with established playerbases and 5+ years of service, since said playerbases aren't going anywhere anytime soon lol.... Needless to say ARR will turn out like that someday too, but should give us a great ride until then.

What i don't understand is this concept of $12/month being some bank breaking, life altering financial commitment that 'modern gamers' feel burned handing over. I mean seriously, most people spend more than that a month on their hobbies and recreation so why is it a friggin sin for a well developed well maintained and updated MMO to charge small fee? Yet a lot of people act like this is the most audacious thing that can happen in the gaming world...
And the same people pay $60 on every Modern Warfare/CoD rehash without question lmao. >.>
I believe the issue for those who dislike subscription models is that they will always have that $13/month committed to a game each month. To some that isn't very much, but there are plenty of people who play MMOs that may not always be able to afford that month in and month out.
Should those people stop playing MMOs? Maybe, but that isn't for me to decide; however, I sure as hell don't like to see same people create the P2P vs F2P posts in the beta forums.
Is XIV $11.99 for non-legacy or $14.99?
MMO subs are cheap compared to other forms of entertainment. It's basically about the price of a movie ticket but you get to play for a month instead of watch for two hours. $15 is the price of the average M:tG draft (not including MM obviously!) and those only last a couple hours too. People seem to lose perspective on things when they think about $15/mo for a video game. The same tards pay $5/mo for XBL just to ENABLE their CoD multiplayer. MMO subs are $0.50 per day ($15/30 days). Nothing else really offers that kind of value imo.
The hell is entry?
Ah, I see...
anybody still needing codes and such? https://www.facebook.com/PlayStation...84026455096557 (ps3/pc but.. you need to register your PS3/SE account as EU for codes to work)
From one of the recent interviews: did it seem to anyone else like the Legacy Discount was not going to be a lifetime discount, but a temporary one?

Probably just a translation derp.
Saw it earlier and ignored it because of this.
