indeed. too bad many people stopped watching after season 1. I wonder what they plan to do for season 3. I'm hoping for a new case.

I wasn't going to come back after season one, but I did because of you all that seemed to like it. Happy I did.

My knee jerk want was to see season 3 focus on the case of Adrian (the kid from her last case) and his father whom she believes was wrongfully charged. The more I thought about it though the less I could see that being feasible.

Jamie the campaign manager knocked her out and put her in the car. He thought she was dead, but she then woke up and ran and he chased her through the woods and knocked her out again and put her in the trunk. He drove to the lake and called Aimes who was with Rosie's Aunt. (the aunt who was helping take care of the boys when the mom ran away) Aimes and the Aunt showed up at the lake and Jamie was telling him that the girl in the trunk heard everything and would ruin their plan, which would mean that Aimes would not be able to start his new company from their plan and could not leave his wife for the aunt, so they needed to kill the girl in the trunk. The Aunt over heard all of this and took matters in her own hands. She got out of the car, put the car in drive with Rosie in the trunk and crashed it into the lake with Rosie screaming in the trunk. Of course she did not know it was her niece.

Yeah I knew Jamie did it but jeesus the Aunt being involved really threw me for a loop, like it was obvious she was dating that guy from the escort service and whatnot, but damn...

Pretty decent ending though, not bad at all~

Just watched both seasons within about a week really enjoyed this show. Looks like it wont be back for season 3 but i guess it would be hard to make it that original again.

Earlier this year AMC met with Netflix to talk about bringing back their murder thiller series The Killing. The network cancelled the series this last summer, which bummed a lot of people like myself out. I thought this was one of the best shows on TV, so I'm happy to tell you that The Killing is coming back to AMC!

According to Variety, showrunner Veena Sud and executive producers Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin Started work on writing the third season this week! There's no official confirmation from the studio yet though. The report goes on to say that the new season will most likely launch in May of next year, with production set to begin in a few months. As for the deal that AMC was working out with Netflix... it's hasn't been finalized yet. The fact that other people are interested in bringing it back obviously helped AMC in making their decision to bring back the show.

Series stars Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman are under contract for a third season, so you can expect them to reprise their roles.The show is based on the Danish series Forbrydelsen (The Crime), The Killing followed Linden and Holder as they investigated the murder of teenager Rosie and all those connected to it. Each episode of the series covered the span of roughly one day. The Rosie Larsen murder was wrapped up at the end of the season two finale.
