Well I mean some of the stuff on FOX's part during that montage wasn't wrong, Common does use misogynistic language, but having Karl Rove speak out as an arbiter of women's rights is not the best choice....

The more you know about it, the more insane and ridiculous it is, just like most of fox news.

He's bitching because Common had a verse stating that we should make amends to Assata Shakur and declaring her innocence, while O'Reilly is claiming she's nothing but an evil cop killer and Common deserves to be shunned for implying otherwise.

Assata Shakur was convicted for a shooting death where the medical experts all said it was impossible for her to have been the shooter (in fact she literally had to have had her arms raised when she was shot), she had no residue evidence of having fired a gun on her, and her fingerprints were not on any of the guns involved in the shooting.

It's really, really ridiculous. They desperately want to attack Obama for anything they possibly can and they will blatantly transform anything they want in order to do so.

It reminds me of the new left video at the rally, how he pointed out how people there are being kind of ridiculous about stuff as well. But, the whole time it's just like... sure, they give their slant but they have some level of integrity that at least prevents them from just throwing out the most absurd bullshit like it's common knowledge due to knowing their watchers will believe whatever they say.

Wyatt had easily the best debut of any current Reporter on the show, and rewatching King of the Hill is so much cooler having known he wrote it (same w/ watching Bernie Mac cause Larry Widmore wrote that).

I'm still a huge Colbert fan, and his showing at the correspondent's dinner was one of the best comedy performances ever, but I have to admit that while I was much more into Colbert than Daily Show when he first started, I'm definitely back to always watching DS and occasionally Colbert because it's soooo much of the exact same thing over and over again.

Same. I thought Colbert was phenomenal when he started, but I rarely watch him now. The whole premise of his show is shtick dependent, and he's been on the air for a long time now.

The funniest thing was on Colbert when he flew that helicopter camera plane at the end. At first I thought he was just "hand syncing" cause of how badly he fucked one up earlier then all the sudden the thing crashes and breaks into a billion pieces lol.
