After reading that Barong could drop 100s, I decieded to added him to my farm when we'd hit up scorpions, one of my members used a JA and staggered him, so we pulled him on the second time around but his weakness changed to magic, both times pulled during the same time period, curious to know if it changes upon respawn JA>MA>WS or if it's just random, either way thought it was interested dunno if it was said, no 100s fell just 1 of each currency type and the item to weaken the zone boss.

I did the same thing yesterday, though i staggered red on it 3 times in a row with JA and like two times we couldnt get a stagger at all, i think its random honestly, and this was claiming on each pop.

I was killing Aitviaras in Bubu the other day, and did box step I think it was or something to that effect, and I'm pretty sure it had dia on too...and when 8:00 rolled around it just randomly proc'd itself, either to dia or the box step effect. So I think it's a set type of proc during certain times like the normal mobs?

I had the same thing happen to me with a mob in bub the other day I cant remember what it was tho. Was with Lullaby as soon as time changed to magic it just instantly proced lol

From what I've seen on the nms, they can proc by all three types at anytime. I've had the same nm proc with magic, ja, and ws during ja time. Edit: It seems to lock to one of the three types on claim and possibly lock to 1 person that can proc it. I've had it where I would spam ws's like 10+ and the other person did 1 and it proced. Same with ja's I would do 20+ nothing then other person does 1 and it procs.

That's wrong. If AF drops in that scenario it forces currency out of the pool. Ra/Ex (might just be EX) items in general force non ra/ex out of the pool. It's actually a pain at times because if your pool is full of AF and/or Pop Items any currency that drops never even hits the pool and just autodrops to random people.

I assume no answer means that no one has done so. To my personal experience, I've never been able to, either on NMs or normal beastmen (but then again, I haven't managed to score a white in nearly twenty runs either... damn 1-2% proc rate.).

Why is everyone having so big problems with it? When we did it when it came out, we had SAMx2 MNKx1 BSTx1 WHMx1 RDMx1. I'm 99% sure 2 BSTs(should be geared though) with Dipper can duo it as well, as Dipper takes far less damage from it's attacks than other pets and players.

I went in as MNK WHM WHM BRD THF and couldn't even keep up with the cures. Each WHM spamming cure 4-5 ran out of MP around 70%. Hitting for 1k each an attack.

No wonder you died really. 1 DD+THF won't kill fast enough to keep up with cures even from 3 mages, I posted that some pages back too. If you don't bring BST(s) you will need to bring more than just 1 or 2 DD. If it dies faster than you run out of MP, you win. If not, you didn't have enough DD power/healing(2 WHM should be plenty though even for more DD, since it will die faster).
