I too have Abj.s sitting around but hate to uncurse the gear until I find the HQs of it.
Added a lot of pieces, especially crimson/blood. Some really nice Crimson hands in there for gun users (with both Snapshot and Marksmanship skill augmented on).
I figured out what that big text block was with the headings "Suzzy," "Seiryu," and "Genbu." Those were all Kirin's Osode augments, using the different kinds of scraps. The scrap you use totally determines the augment you get, based on those results. Someone else said something similar about Kirin's Pole. I will update OP to reflect.

Suzaku Scrap yields Double Attack on HQ
Byakko Scrap yields Dual Wield on HQ
Genbu Scrap yields Regen on HQ
Seiryu Scrap yields Snapshot on HQ
Other associated augments are also based partially on scrap choice, but those augments above are definitely exclusive to the type of scrap used, and guaranteed with HQ.
I have a Valk. Breastplate and access to a P. Abj. Head to shred for tatters. Am definitely interested in trying it, just need access to someone to do Synergy (Leviathan server).

No HQ3 yet, but 3 HQ2 4 HQ1s, have seen Triple Attack +2, Zanshin +4, MDB +4, 3 Resist Paralyze and 3 Acc.
SE is hooked on zanshin atm. Must be planning on adding some evasive ass mobs.

Out of tatters, never got an NQ or HQ3.
I believe I saw Triple Attack +1-2 on every one, and then one of the following:
Acc ( up to 8 )
Resist Paraylze ( 3 )
Magic Defense Bonus ( up to 4 )
Zanshin ( up to 3 )
genbu's kabuto: hq2 - haste+3%, resist stun 4
for genbu's shield: hq3, add resist fire+9
Koenig Cuirass; Physical damage taken -3% Refresh +1 Enmity+5
M.Body (HQ3)
PDT -4%
Spell Interrupt down 7%
Conserve MP +3
N.Head(HQ1)
INT 2
Double Attack 1

Also, for Neptunal Abj. Head: 65 pz/18 scraps. Base synth is 10 scraps but i'm not sure of the Pz. I'm guessing that's HQ3?

I may combine HQ1 and HQ2, it doesn't seem like the results are very different, if at all. Maybe HQ2 slightly on the higher end of ranges, but I've seen pretty much complete overlap so far. Similarly with NQ/HQ base armor, I haven't seen anything which indicates that it matters which you start with.
