    Has anyone else noticed that when HQing a tier up, HQ2 augs. > HQ3 augs. 2/3 of the stats seem to build?

    For example I was doing S. Kote. I started with HQ1 right away with STP+2. After getting a HQ2, the orgional STP+2 built to STP+3 and I got Attack+3 as the HQ2 second aug. with STP building upon itself. After a couple tries I got a HQ3, STP+3 Crit.Rate+2% Attack+3 (My HQ2's plus the added augment from HQ3). I later got another HQ3 after keeping my old augments because I was yet to get another HQ3. This time the results from the HQ3 where STP+4 Crit.Rate+4 Acc+4. Keeping/building on two of the old augments and adding/changing the third possibility from the HQ3 tier. At first I thought this was just a coincidence but I started noticing the trend when I did other pieces as well. I did some more Blood Cuisses and watch the fastcast and MDB build on each other from HQ2>HQ3 while adding a third augment.

    Just try and pay attention to what builds/changing when you do these for now on, I have a bunch waiting for me to test out when I'm off work later so I'll let you know what I find.

    Could be coincidence -- the STP is guaranteed on Kote and the Fast Cast is guaranteed on Cuisses, so it makes sense that you'd see as good or higher results for those when you improve the synergy by a tier. As far as the other ones go, it does seem like some augments are more likely than others (for example, crit hit rate seems to be way more likely than, say, thunder resist, on Byakko pants HQ3), so that could be coincidence as well. Still sounds like something good to keep track of. I know for sure that I didn't notice this on some of my own synths, for example when I went from HQ1 -> HQ3 Zenith Crown the MAB improved (the guaranteed augment with HQ), but the second augment that was on my HQ1 was not on my HQ3. Same thing with Genbu's Shield, my HQ3 did not have cure spellcast reduction even though my HQ1s did.

    I did a lot of synths on Shura Haidate, but I didn't track NQ/HQ etc. Most were NQ or HQ1 I think though. The synths very heavily favored dual wield.

    From everything I've seen, one augment is NQ, 2 augments is HQ1/2, and 3 augments is HQ3. For each piece of gear, one augment in particular is always guaranteed on any HQ, so for Shura Haidate, it must be the Dual Wield.

    Added some more results, confirmed crit hit rate as HQ guaranteed augment on Hecatomb Subligar.

    Did more augmenting on Valk. Breastplate. Got 3 Triple Attack 3 Magic Defense Bonus 2 Wind resist on an HQ3, got another HQ3 that had only two augments, MDB +3 TA +2. In addition to that, I saw Resist Light +6, Resist Wind +6, Magic Evasion +1 (on an NQ, never saw it on any HQs) and Resist Poison +1.

    I have not seen or heard of any Koenig shoes/gloves being done, so I did some in hopes of PDT gear for WAR, got junk.

    Added new augments and a couple of new pieces (Koenig and Zenith pieces above, Heca harness, etc.). I'm thinking about highlighting the HQ-guaranteed augment outside of the spoiler tag as a sort of preview without having to click into each of them.

    I've heard stories of Cure Pot+4% Zenith Pumps +1s.

    Nice... first foot slot piece with cure potency, I think (if you discount Serpentes). Haven't seen any other Pumps results so I'm not sure if cure potency is the HQ guaranteed augment, sounds like it might be?

    I think the cap for byakko's is capped at 6 for stats. I am assuming you got the +7 agi from this quote off FFXIah.com?

    "Byakko Haidate: Did 32 of these for friends. STP (on all of them) 1-4 // Vit,Agi,Mnd + 1-6 // Crit hit + 1-4%

    Best set we saw with above combination was STP +4 Agi 7 Crit 4%"

    I think it might be a typo, so anyone else getting a +7 on byakko haidates?

    Yes, that is where I got the 7 from. I also noticed that it didn't match the range he said. But yeah, I'll edit it back down to 6 until someone else confirms that they've seen a 7.

    More augments on Shadow Trews, got same Augments, but Pet: Critical hit rate went upto 2 on HQ3

    Has anyone seen a difference between the quality of an augment vs NQ or HQ? Like can heca feet augment on STR hit a higher value on HQ vs NQ or are they the same between the two?
