    Don't remember it not working, tbh I can't remember much other than having the settings up fairly high if not on max for majority of things.

    Yeah a single HD5770 or GTX 460 with an i5+ would tear it apart. Crossfire and SLI doesn't work still.

    Supposedly no, but you prolly gotta suck big dicks in their forum to even be considered as a candidate to get into anything outside of open beta, which is gonna be like 30k+ players anyway.

    Crossfire DOES work, but only in fullscreen mode, fullscreen windowed or windowed do not work. ( 6990 internal crossfire, can't gaurantee it'll work on anything else ).

    And FPS goes up? I know it works, as does SLI, but I know for sure SLI isn't giving me any gains in any mode, and I hear the same about Crossfire.

    It's not giving me much more if any, but it's spreading the load across the GPUs and running them at ~70 each core, instead of 90 on one.

    well I've just updated drivers and CF profiles etc, I still don't get a spread load with 2 HD 4890s, so idk

    Here's a transcript of our October 2011 chat event.

    Welcome to our October TERA Production Chat! Today's guest is Associate Producer Stefan Ramirez.

    As a reminder, TERA is coming to North America in Spring 2012. Our alpha is underway and preview events will begin early next year. Today’s topics include what was discussed in the sixth episode of the TERA Podcast including the alpha test, Bluehole Studio’s visit, and what the T3 build brings to TERA.

    To ask us a question, mention "@TERAonline" and include the "#TERA" hashtag (without the quotations) in your message. Are you ready? We are!

    Q: @NightYoukai Will there be more Alpha/Closed-Beta invites going out in the future? #TERA

    A: Yes, we have begun Alpha on a limited basis and Beta begins early next year. There will be lots of opportunities for players to join.

    Q: @Uruvion Is the alpha test still on schedule for later this year?

    A: Alpha has begun and is going well so far

    Q: @MandyMassie With additional time, any chance for additional colors for Humans/Elvs hair and more options overall for other races?

    A: One of the things we know players want are tons of customization options and TERA offers a lot of variety in this department.

    Q: @UnkyRona Will the game be more PVE or PVP focused? Will there be PVP and PVE servers or will it be PVPVE like Aion?

    A: We will have PvE and PvP servers at launch. We feel great about the PvE story and game play.
    A: We are still fine tuning our PvP settings and something we will test later this year.

    Q: @Zhaetheria Do you fear that having taken so long to #TERArelease in North America will cause a lack of interest?

    A: We feel that all of the adjustments we are making is going to make a much better play experience. We can't wait for you to play it!

    Q: @BrotherMagneto Do you guys still have nerf gun fights in the office?

    A: We have stepped up our game and now use USB powered turrets.

    Q: @Dracozombie Will the press and media be able to participate in the Alpha/Beta phases? If so, how soon?

    A: The goal of alpha is to gather feedback and ramp up our live services support. Media will be invited as we head into the beta phase.

    Q: @Tigorasou are previous FGT/CPE players are still on the top of the list for alpha testing?

    A: Past testers that gave quality feedback are definitely being considered as we move along in the process.

    Q: @WhileOne_Qatar Will the regions be IP locked to EU and US? Will people from the Middle East for example be able to play on EU servers?

    A: We are not IP blocking TERA in the US or EU.

    Q: @TeraHispano You will need gold to remove the "bad Karma" from PK. Any other penalty planned?. Maybe item drop?

    A: We are still finalizing the PK system for our PvP servers in NA. Nothing has been set in stone yet.

    Q: @NightYoukai How will the new GvG system work? Will it be capable of adding inter-server wars with the SvS system?

    A: We will have GvG and add SvS later down the road. We aren't getting into specifics yet, but will keep you posted.

    Q: @Uruvion You've mentioned that one of the topics of today's event are about the alpha tests. When will we be able to participate?

    A: Alpha is going well, and we will continue to invite players as needed leading into beta.

    Q: @TeraHispano How exactly could you overthrow an elected official

    A: An elected official is only in office for 21 days at which point a new election process begins.
    A: Players can speak with their votes, and weapons, if they are not happy with a leader.

    Q: @TeraGreece Did you guys enjoy the blessed alcoholic beverage we gave you as a good luck present at gamescom ?

    A: Hey, we sure did, and the office sends over a big thanks!

    Q: @xPerfectionx Other MMORPG's have a lack of tanks or heals will you be using any stragery to encourage the use of these classes?

    A: TERA's action combat puts everyone on a level playing field. Player skill is a big part of the equation, no matter what the class is.

    Q: @MandyMassie is the new /sit emote included in the T3 build? Will we see more features that the RP community hopes for?

    A: Why would you /sit when you can /dance =)

    Q: @TeraHispano Do you plan any other languages for EME client version aside english?

    A: We will only be supporting English in the NA version of TERA.

    Q: @Herdosratos 21 days in office? So 7 days for election process?

    A: You got it buddy.

    Q: @archonsg Will invites to alpha, beta be extended internationally or it is strictly US only?

    A: We will be handling NA and Frogster will be handling EU

    Q: @Abriael because people tend to sit when they roleplay. Sorry, but that was a silly answer. Stop neglecting roleplayers please.

    A: /Sit usually is associated with a function. In TERA we have campfires which players can gather around and works nicely for RPers.

    Q: @NightYoukai Will we see official naming conventions for other races besides Castanic before release?

    A: All race names are official and you can find more detail about them on our website.

    Q: @TeraGreece From the content released so far TERA offers a lot ! Is there any particular focus in the future in regard to PvE or PvP ?

    A: We will have separate servers in NA and will continue to create content for both PvE and PvP.

    Q: @Abriael that woks when you're outdoors? but what about sitting indoors? A campfire doesn't work too well on a carpet

    A: We have a lot of RPers in the office and not something we take lightly. We have lots of emotes in the game...
    A: ... and some great lore for each race. Which we think will make RPers happy.

    Q: @Herdosratos Will we be able to do Xserver fights EU vs. NA? (no IP block) ...

    A: While we are not IP blocking, the servers are different between NA and EU.

    Q: @TeraGreece who is the best pvp'er at En Masse ?

    A: We haven't crowned a champ yet, but we have started interoffice tournaments for bragging rights.

    Q: @omgimagination if you buy a EU copy, will you be able to play on NA servers by downloading the NA client. or do you need a NA account.

    A: You will need a NA account and game client to play on NA servers.

    Q: @TeraGreece can you keep us updated on that (interoffice pvp) on your dev blog please ?

    A: I think we can do that.

    Q: @Draykho Will there be any kind of tab targeting or targeting at all? Maybe a simple camera lock to help? Cant wait to play <3

    A: There is no tab targeting in TERA. However, some of your skills will require you to "paint" your targets. For example, priests have a skill that allows you to target multiple party members for healing upon casting.

    Q: @Deioth Great PvP improvements, do you intend to reward players for OWPvP rather than force them to grind BGs for PvP gear?

    A: We don't want players to have to grind anything for good equipment. There are a lot of different ways to get gear with PvP stats. Drops from BAMs and bosses have the potential to have PvP stats and certain gear can be sealed and unsealed to change attributes randomly. Sealing and unsealing involves erasing an item's current bonuses and a random chance to add different stats that can grant PvP bonuses.

    Q: @Nectemar Currently the Outlaw system is restricted to practically endgame. Will the level cap be lowered so I can OWPvP earlier?

    A: Yes! We're currently fine-tuning what that level will be but it will be very early in the game.

    Q: @Uruvion Is the preview event separate from the more public alpha tests?

    A: TERA is in closed alpha testing and the first public preview event will be separate from this testing phase, starting early 2012.

    Q: @TeraHispano How is all going on with NA TERA alpha test?

    A: Awesome! We've been getting really good feedback and insight which is allowing us to guide future changes to TERA. On top of that, everybody is having a blast which makes us more and more excited for our public preview events!

    Q: @NightYoukai With /sit being added, are there any plans to add text based emotes to TERA as well? Ex- "/me drinks some water."

    A: This is something we've communicated to the dev team. We don't have an ETA on implementation but it is on their radar.

    Q: @jessetrevor Any news reguarding the new website for TERA ?

    A: The new TERA-Online.com is progressing well and we're really excited by the changes we've seen (and the new forums).

    Q: @Ocajnik Is there any chance at all for at least one server dedicated to hardcore pvp? Pvp from level 1?

    A: An ironman server! This is something that we've tossed around the office but isn't something that will happen at launch. Maybe after?

    Q: @frore Will ability mechanics/damage differ depending on PvP/PvE targets?

    A: Skills will remain constant in function between PvP and PvE settings. The defining factors for PvP will be having gear with PvP bonuses (as we tweeted before) and player skill combined with class knowledge.

    Q: @LodurZJ how will healing feel different between the healing classes? is one more direct heals or mitigation?

    A: Healing is very different between priests and mystics! Mystics create both short-term, single-target heals and use directed heals. Priests on the other hand focus on healing the entire party at once through area-of-effect heals and multi-target heal skills.

    Q: @Uruvion Will the community still have a chance to experience the game before the end of the year as previously mentioned?

    A: We have our Friends & Family group and a select group of community members in our closed alpha test. This includes people who have attended our En Masse Entertainment events!

    Q: @TeraHispano Why to add a Group XP bonus in TERA?

    A: Prior to this group experience fix, it was almost punishment to level in a group due to the split experience sharing. This is a way to incentivize group play and overall community building.

    Q: @NightYoukai Will master glyphs shake up a class's playstyle a bit, or will they just allow players more focus on preferred skills?

    A: For folks who don't know, glyphs are tweaks to existing class skills that allow players to customize them to their play style. The intent of masterwork glyphs is to increase uniqueness of players in the same class, allowing for them to focus on different play styles. We feel that the new masterwork glyphs will accomplish this but we'll be watching to make sure that they do and changing them if they don't.

    Q: @144Creations are there any plans to include player housing in TERA similar to what existed in Star Wars Galaxies?

    A: Right now we're focusing on TERA's launch but we're always looking towards the game's future & we're seriously looking at player housing.

    Q: @Ocajnik will guild wars enable open-world PvP on PvE servers?

    A: We actually sent the development team an email asking about this very question earlier today! Essentially, for us to feel comfortable with enabling GvG on a PvE server, we'd like for GvG to be consensual between both parties. Tell us what you guys think about this topic on the forums!

    Q: @AionPestilence do you plan on adding more customization/ fashion additions. In TERA?

    A: We're aware that there's demand for aesthetic equipment pieces and are planning accordingly but making sure it doesn't break immersion.

    Q: @Nectemar Will TERA have any Mod support?

    A: If you mean add-ons, early on in development we tried to create add-on support and couldn't develop it to the quality we wanted. This will not be a launch feature for TERA but it is on our long-term radar.

    Q: @frore TERA looks amazing. Will there be a 64-bit client for users running very high resolutions and graphic settings?

    A: That's a really good question. Let us research that one and get back to you!

    Q: @Ocajnik Have you changed the 4 hour time limit on guild wars?

    A: We don't feel that four hours is long enough so we'll be extending the time limit. We're thinking closer to a day? Voice your opinions!

    Q: @144Creations what sort of in-game holidays or events are planned for TERA? Anything similar to Lineage II?

    A: We do want to have in-game holidays and events in TERA and will have more details on our plans regarding them closer to launch. Would you guys be interested in a "town hall" meeting with the En Masse Entertainment team during one of our preview events next year? Tell us!

    Q: @Deioth Will PvE servers have the Server invasion feature? If so how will it work since it involves OWPvP following the invasion

    A: Great question! Because PvE server rulesets are relatively new for our development team, we're trying to figure out how server invasions work in this environment. More information on this as we have it!

    Q: @Nectemar The /Sit feature in TERA is it only for aesthetic purposes or does it give a resting bonus (increased regen) like normal MMO's

    A: Currently, the /sit command is purely an aesthetic emote. If you want to have regen, throw a campfire down before you /sit!

    Q: @TeraHispano Which is the idea behind the rest exp in TERA?

    A: It's a way for more casual players to feel they're progressing well and allows them to keep up with their more active friends in-game.

    Q: @SoyuzStrashok Can i create a communist state using the political system?

    A: In Soviet TERA, political system elects you! If that's your desire, but you'll want to keep your people happy, comrade!

    Q: @TeraHispano Will the jailing in the political system of the game be available in TERA at launch?

    A: Nope!

    Q: @_Caladbolg_ Will there be a remodellling system in place for changing the look of an armor/weapon?

    A: Yes! You can swap the appearance of same-type weapons and armors in TERA. ...for some in-game gold!

    Q: @TeraHispano Will any more emotes be added in the future in TERA?

    A: Yes, we're always looking at adding more ways for players to interact with one another.

    Might be an inappropriate place to post this but I see system requirements in the main thread.

    I am looking at basically I5 2500K + GTX 560 TI to run Tera, should I be able to get to max settings with that on a single monitor ?
