Seen that SE posted a bunch of videos of this game today on youtube, they are all in JP, so I have no clue what they are talking about.

Does this happen to be the new MMO?

Edit: Hmm never mind I guess, found some more videos, and I guess this is an ipod / ipad game........

I've been wondering what people thought of Chaos Rings... I wouldn't assume that a mobile-device-only game would be worth the $12~$15 price tag they put on these games, but I don't really know.

I dont like the game personnaly

Ill try toexplain the best way i can

When you start you have 2 teams to choose and i think when you finish the gamr youmhave access to the other teams.

So each team is 2 players. First time is like a guy with a great sword and the girl with a rapier

The goal is too find the chaos ring.

So you choose your first stage and select which level you wanna play iy. 1-10 11-20 etc

Inside the level, the goal is simple go inside and get to the end and kill the boss while leveling up

Inside the levers you will also get puzzle that are pretty weakc( need to gather green crystals)

When you kill a type of mob you can get their genes exemple dog genes. Each genes can learn certain abilities that you assign to you char.

When you finish stage 1 you can either repeat stage 1 with the same or higher mob level or go to stage 2 with onces again 1-10 11-20 etc.

Got repetitve fast and got bored. Not worth 15$

Get it with installous instead

It is pretty repetitive sometimes but overall its good. The story was really good though and the bosses were well done and it had great music. I'd suggest waiting for another SE sale to buy it which will be soon, either when FFT:WotL comes out this month or they update the games.

This game also had a Prequel called Chaos Rings Omega which is out now and not very repetitive since it focuses on one character like a classic rpg AND Chaos rings 2 will be coming out later this year.

Eh, the games are fine overall. The issue is that in order to progress in the story and get the actually endings you have to play through the story with each duo of characters. I can't remember but I think it's four duos total, and the story does not change at all during those play throughs until the end of the 4th one, then you have to do a final chapter on all 4 of those to get to a final boss.

Shit's super repetitive.

Eh, if you can get it cheap it's a fun enough distraction.

Easy as hell, but good looking game. Story's mildly interesting.

How so? Only reports I've been hearing is that they didn't remove the framerate limiter that makes it look like it's always running at 15 some FPS, which was the same case on both the iOS/Android versions I own.

More to the subject, Kotaku posted an article on the PSM port - http://kotaku.com/this-man-likes-the...made-906436313
Would have been nice if they did a full translation of the article they linked instead of paraphrasing, but I'll take it. Already own it on other devices, so hope enough Vita owners/PSM users pick it up for them to warrant Omega/2 to get ported since I've yet to play 'em.
