There were a lot of people that thought the first GotG trailer was fantastic. There were also plenty that thought it made it look just as ridiculous as they thought a talking racoon would be lol.

Trailer was meh, but I like Paul Rudd and I believe in Marvel so I'll give it a chance.
I like Paul Rudd, I just don't think he's a great serious actor. I can't believe he snagged a Marvel movie.
Really? Can you list them? I can't for the life of me figure it out.
Off the top of my head I can only think of Alicia Silverstone in Batman & Robin and Donald Faison in Kickass 2.
I can only think of two:
Alicia Silverstone was in Batman and Robin.
Donald Faison was in Kick-Ass 2.
Stacey Dash goes sadly underutilized.
Breckin Meyer was apparently on Heroes? Must have been after the Writers Guild strike.
Edit: that's what I get for not refreshing before posting, oh well
Edit 2: Elton and Amber each appeared in some manner of Justice League material, this is quite the rabbit hole.
This seem absolutely ridiculous. So his super power is shrinking? Can't the villains just splat him like an ant then?
No. He retains his initial strength...
I for one have blind faith in Marvel, I just can't imagine a timeline where they'll release a (seriously) bad movie.
I had fortunately forgotten Batman and Robin was a thing. Thanks for nothing assholes.
Mwahahaah

Rumor: Hank Pym to be the main villain, will wear a darker version of the Ant-Man suit

Iron Man had to fight a bigger Iron Man and Thor had to fight another Asgardian (sp?) in their first and mostly second movie so why the hell not. Same formula, different variable. Let's see if it works.
edit: and lol at that. Captain America had to fight another Super Solider in both his movies too. Never noticed that pattern.
