Getting a bit of a Dark Souls vibe from the videos.

Kinda makes me hope for a relative difficulty also, makes the combat more satisfying, and has the side-effect of making the game fucklong for some of us that repeatedly make the same mistakes. Night time looks like it's going to be a hoot, hope they programmed a shader in that makes it so you cannot just crank the brightness/gamma of your display to negate the darkness.

Still not sure about this game, great potential for this to be extremely boring,

the premise and the trailers have looked absolutely awesome but capcom (see: a fucking bobble head in every box) scares the shit out of me, I really don't want this game to be dumb

The only thing keeping from going apeshit over this game is Capcom. Where they are involved there is always a huge chance for a total fuckjob. While I want the game, I'm going to hold off until after some reviews.

As more and more info comes out on this thing... I find that I still have no idea what to expect. I keep hearing it called a mash up of Dragon's Age, Monster Hunter, etc... and it intrigues me. I just want something new. Something like Monster Hunter (I consider Demon's/Dark Souls to be 'like' Monster Hunter) would be quite alright with me.



But something new that doesn't suck. I will say that the phantoms in this video look pretty nice. The scare factor that comes from fighting in this kind of darkness is always fun.

Yeah I am a little behind it seems. I didn't realize all of these videos had been added. The Progression stuff is nice to see, instead of that same damn Chimera video all the time. I am wondering how many of these little graphic/pathing glitches will go away. Like walking into the rat and having it basically walk right up the side of you, things like that. They won't kill the game for me any more than getting bodies stuck to your shoe in Demon's/Dark Souls as long as the rest of the game makes up for it.
