Square Enix Account Transfer Information Page(6/27/2011)

This is an announcement concerning transfers to Square Enix Accounts.

Customers who have reactivated Content IDs, purchased additional expansions, performed world transfers, or made any other additional purchases during the month of July, will not be able to complete the transfer process until after the monthly maintenance scheduled for the end of this month.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding.

Hnnnng, not letting me transfer my second account even then no changes or purchases have been made in July. Dumb system is dumb.

Because this month's service fees have not yet completed processing, you cannot transfer your PlayOnline ID.
Please try again next month.

I think you can server transfer but if you do then you can't transfer to SE account til next month? At least that's how I read it.

Contact info on the paypal confirm only shows my email and phone #. . .how do i get it to show my billing address please? without the info it cancels my transaction. leaving me sad raging panda throwing cinder blocks at SE employees heads.

edit: in paypal account i edit credit card and it shows does have my address saved as home.

I currently pay for three accounts. Would I then have to set up three stupid fucking Crysta accounts or whatever the hell they call it in order to pay for those three accounts since they are on different SE IDs? If the answer is yes, then THAT is why I won't be returning. If I can pay all three using one Crysta account then I guess paying through paypal isn't a horrible option, aside from the fact that you still have to add Crysta in set amounts, essentially giving them money well ahead of time for a service you may or may not even use.

have any of the import players thought of asking sutocorp if we can proxy through them, I know I'm already getting my webmoney from them. I dunno if we could list our address as theirs then they send us our Square Enix mail.

If you have multiple accounts linked to the same SEID, you only need to make one bulk purchase of crysta and they will all be deducted out of it. Notice the little Crysta indicator at the top of your SE account page. That's good for every account under your SEID, all chars linked from ff11 to that SEID, ff14, whatever the fuck else crysta is good for, all that.

Only reason you'd need 3 separate deposits is if you have all your accounts with their own SEID for some reason.

Edit: You will probably have to click some indicator for each account on that ID you want to be deducted from Crysta as payment, but only once.

well going through cancelling of IDs and it won't let me without transferring POL to SE account but they do allow an unsubscribe pol account option instead that cancels everything, so yay.

This is a sad day for XI. I think a lot of old players who have only kept their subscriptions going because having access to XI is something of a comfort after being subscribed non-stop for the past 5+ years are going to use this as an opportunity to finally sever ties. It sounds silly, but I think the fact that paying for XI via direct debit has always been a passive action has been a huge contributing factor when it comes to the number of players who still kept their accounts active even when they didn't have the time to play frequently or at all.

Also judging from this thread quite a few active players are going to rage-quit as well.

I did the transfer today, bought crysta, all is well and good.
The crysta will take place 1 month from now, august 27th and pay for each month after that. (Aug 27th-Sept27th)
Previous payment method used to be billed on the 2nd of every month, and that was payed. (July 2nd-August 2nd).

Does anyone have a freaking clue how the (August 2nd - August 27th) gap is going to be paid? From my CC full or partial? Crysta Partial?

I havent read the thread yet, so forgive me if its been asked already... I have 2 ff accounts, 1 is already linked to an SE account (sec token etc). Can I link my 2nd ff account to the same SE account?
