shock sandhawk is still really good for Gaige
Yeah, I got one when I used to run a BFF/LBT build but it's useless for BFF/Anarchy.
Just started a playthrough with my friend. I'm Psycho, he's Mechromancer.
Any weapons from quests we should be on the lookout for?
Flame of the Firehawk shield for Psycho is such a goddamn amazing early game tool. I can completely clear out a room with it while in Buzzsaw Rampage.
Get the Moxxi's Bad/Good Touch SMGs for donating at her bar once you hit level cap for Normal, save the TVHM one for once you reach UVHM since it doesn't reset if you get them in TVHM, causing them to go to waste; a good corrosive weapon is useful there too. Lots of good quest rewards; Sandhawk, Fibber, assorted shield... most notably actually I'd say isn't an actual reward, but is a quest aftermath. At the end of the Clan Wars chain, if you choose to help a certain side, you'll be able to farm the opposite side's boss for Slagga which is the best Slag weapon in the game. That'll be relevant for UVHM. If you want to know which one I'll tell you once you reach that point, otherwise you can figure it out if you don't... want... spoilers or whatever.
Here's a decent list for reference:

As far as mechromancer gear goes, I'd say just keep an eye out for anything that's particularly gimmicky and useless. You'll probably find a way to work it into the center piece of a build if you think creatively. This is coming from a guy that does a anarchy/melee hybrid build.
Rubi (Heals for 12.5%), Grogg Nozzle (Heals for 65%), and Antagonist (shield) for slag.
Law/Order was a particularly fun/interesting combo as Psycho. I only wish you could combine Order with Flame of the Firehawk! Maybe next game they'll let you equip two shields! That would make for some interesting shit. Or maybe build shields out of parts!
God if they implemented some sort of crafting system, even if the stat ranges were larger to compensate for the fact that you can actually choose what parts you wanted for the gun...
That's the next step I think they should take with 3.
