Got through everything, application accepted, downloaded fine, now it crashes after hitting the play on test server button. Color me confused.

And they said there wont be any GMs on the test server. Sounds like a good time to be had by all (except her).

I installed the test client... the other files all look like the regular FFXI .dat files (probably with updates)... anywhere in particular I need to stick them?

Yeah I saw that on the forums and thought maybe they gave you an option? I don't see where to download anything and if it's just through "Play on Test Server" then my shit is broke because it tells me it's not installed.

Are you guys logging into the Test server still using windower? Cuz the button only shows up for me if I run POL viewer normally.. :/

I only completed the download of the first file, I'm assuming you followed the readme instructions in regards to installation?

Page 2 for us 50 posts/per pros! As far as speed, lowest is 280/s, highest is 450/s.

Rather interesting; I downloaded the first file (A11203W_001) and unzipped it, installed, and am now downloading FFXI updates using the normal update method. The other 3 files (FFXITC, FFXITC2, FFXITC3) have not yet finished either. Time remaining on the .zip files is huge (10+ hours) but the update within the client itself says only 2:40... Not sure if I'll need both the zip files and regular update, just need to sit and wait I guess...

Forum says I'm in Town 2, whatever that means...
