Oh yes. The PUP who tested it before had done some nice SPs on Kaggan but he was probably probably equipped for SP. I'll hop on the test server tonight and test out SP with the right food and setup :D
It's 5tp/tic plague. Max duration didn't seem to change at all between 100>300. Had 8 tics or probably 25secs @ 100tp as my max, and 5 tics or 15secs worth as the quickest to wear. When done at 300tp I saw 8 tics on 9 of 10 occasions with 1 Shijan only lasting 7 tics. If I get around to it later, I will try to see how accurate and for how long plague effect lasts on higher level NMs.

I would really appreciate that, I'm working on PUP (and nyzul for SP) and would love to know if spiral is worth it before dumping that many merits in it.
Judging by delta thrust, I'm pretty sure every NM in 76+ content is immune to plague. It might be helpful for solo dynamis/limbus/that sort of thing.
Out of curiosity, what colour border are the +4 magian weapons?
Gobli disagrees with your 300TP mod and thinks it should be lower, but your 721 damage with 242 base damage disproves their 300TP anchor point. I'd say they're full of bullshit and will leave bgwiki's page at .75/.875/1.0 until proven otherwise.
The 242 base damage I was using there isn't right, I was assuming 85% WSC at that point, not 100%. So that 721 would be with 259 base damage, meaning fTP is somewhere between .884 .928. Which still means the fTP isn't 30/32 @ 300, but it's lower than 1.
I'll do some more 300 TP tests to nail it down this weekend.
Ok, so 5-8 ticks of plague, which would be 25-40 TP.
Considering a solo mnk. How much TP is given to a mob in order for the mnk to reach, say, 110 TP.
Going to assume TPing in: AF3+2 head, Black Belt, Rajas Ring and Melee+2 Gloves (or Agasaya Collar), for 50 Subtle Blow without needing Auspice.
H2H config:
Something between Vere (+51 delay) and Taipan Fangs (+61 delay) for 4.8 to 4.9 base TP per hit.
Mob receives 50% of 7.8|7.9, or 3.9 TP per hit. 2.9 if Penance is in effect. And at least -12.5% with dAgi.
Net: 3.4 TP/hit, or 2.5 with Penance active.
How many hits per weaponskill? Rough estimate would be 20 hits, including from the weaponskill itself.
20 * 2.5 = 50
20 * 3.4 = 68
So after accounting for the plague effect, mob gains (per player weaponskill):
10 - 25 TP with Penance up
28 - 43 TP with Penance down
Rather nice. Now, what about Footwork?

Base TP given to the mob is 6.4+3=9.6. 4.8 after Subtle Blow. 4.2 after minimal dAgi. 3.1 with Penance active.
7-hit build is entirely reasonable (AF3+2 legs & Rajas is sufficient). Will call it 8 hits for over-TP.
8 * 3.1 = 24.8
8 * 4.2 = 33.6
So with Penance up, even a low-end plague will negate all TP gain per weaponskill. With Penance down, if plague averages ~32.5 (halfway between 25 and 40) it will basically counter all TP gain.
In other words, with Footwork, the mob would never be able to weaponskill unless they're getting TP from regain, counters (since they give the mob TP) or from hitting the mnk. Even with that, aside from regain, it's going to be a long climb up for the mob.
Given that Shijin's damage is (outside Abyssea) close to on par with Smite (a bit weaker on very tough mobs) when Impetus is down, this could be a pretty impressive low-man tanking tool, depending on the danger of the mob's TP moves.
any info on relic horn 99 stats?
So does Shinji's Plague actually land on modern NMs then? Blade Bash, Delta Thrust, and Lowing don't, would be interesting if Shinji has that unique property.
