That seems to be a wiki limitation. I have never seen anything like Pages with too many expensive parser function calls before.

I think that's likely true, but I'm not entirely sure what to do about it. We could just resort to an ffxiah database search link on pages with that many pieces of gear, I guess.

Or remove the auto-linking feature from that template and put in links the old-fashioned way.

Actually... The problem might be the {{#ifexist: {{equip}} | }} statement. We may have to get rid of it. (And since it is an equipment template, all of the entries should exist.)

Well, I'm capable of just putting brackets around all the phrases and forcing them to link so that the page looks like it works, but that doesn't solve the error. I'm a big fan of auto-linking when possible. It's too bad that we can't have the wiki parse and auto-fill the links when the page is submitted, like it does for {{Category:Something|}}. If it converted everything to [[ ]] at submission, then it wouldn't have to do any calculations when the page is called.

The disambiguation template appears to be limited to 4 items. I'm only running to the issue in places that amount to disambiguation pages, so one solution would be to just stop using the template on those pages.

We could also change the template. As it stands, it is limited to 4 because it is set to branch depending on the number of items filled in, so you have 4 possibilities and the word "or" is at the last one.

We could instead use the less common "Did you mean V or W or X or Y or Z?" which is grammatically correct since it does not have commas. If a augment is present, it would post " or " then the augment with a final "?" at the end.

It isn't the most elegant solution, but it would work. The Blackrose can probably come up with something better though. lol

After much delays and tampering, the template for Battlefields is pretty much done.

I am working on the WoE Battlefields and have completed the drops for Flux 2. There is no more drop v personal chest v boss chest so it might be quicker to copy and then edit drops from https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Veridical_Conflux_2

You'll need to add a |boss=blah to the Morbid Mollasses template call to get the boss checkmark. And I'll need to adjust the template a little bit to fix the header. Easy enough.

Otherwise, yeah, my sandbox was just an example.

One thing that potentially needs to be added is the limit on "number of members." WoE chambers are always 36, but things like BCs can be either 3 or 6 with the same orb.

I have one last minor thing! Your code for Beastman Seal fight is "BCNM," which was common in game for a long time but is not a consistent acronym.

BCNM = Burning Circle Notorious Monster (that uses Beastman Seals)
KSNM = Kindred Seal Notorious Monster
KCNM = Kindred Crest Notorious Monster
HKCNM = High Kindred Crest Notorious Monster

We swapped the category name to BSNM to keep the naming scheme consistent, and left BCNM referencing anything that uses a Burning Circle (all four types of battlefield).

After filling in the template a few times, my one issue with it is how much space the loot table takes up. It's freaking huuuuge.

Did I? Must have been a subconscious slip, because I did intend it to be BSNM. The category switch correct, but the type switch was not. Fixed.

Also, I can't really do much about the loot table. Some instances just drop a lot of loot. A template to split details into two+ columns would be a royal pain in the ass, not to mention we might risk running into the Wiki limitations for template calls.

I was wondering if you could make the monster template automatically insert the {{Needs Image}} template at the top of the page if the {{PAGENAME}}.JPG doesn't exist. It's mostly just annoying to add a picture, edit the page. Add a picture, edit the page. Add a picture, edit the page. etc.
