You know just an observation, but this reminds me of something else from the mid to late 90's, that was a show designed for little girls, that went on to become popular with older people. Now what was it? OH YEAH...

The only things that are different was that Sailor Moon had ass, (unless there is a donkey in the MLP), tits, and sudo hentai fight sequences. Where as, from what I have heard, MLP has better writing, plot, and humor.

It's true, i love MLP, i love the show, i love trolling people with MLP because its a pretty damn good show, somewhat stupid at times, but what show isn't. I enjoy MLP, and i assure you when season 2 comes out, i'll be watching, posting, and flaunting my pony spirit.
