    Experience Points

    I've been sitting on this project for a month now, so I suppose it's time to throw it out there in case anyone else wants to pick it up. Honestly, I forgot about it until I was pushing around papers today in my main document folder and noticed the .xls.



    Post-75, or possibly in their xp/kill change, SE changed the xp/kill calculations from something that could be represented with a simple table (like this) to something more simply represented by set of piecewise linear equations that expand their range with every level (as seen above for level 90). The slope changes approximately every 10 dLVL, and on average it's about twice what it used to be.

    Due to the recent prompting by Masamune, I've started collecting level 99 values for this again. One preliminary thing that I have noticed:
    * Signet XP Bonus either doesn't apply to monsters weaker than a certain level or is overwritten by monster-XP Bonus. Ghrahs gave the same xp to both of my characters, but Aerns gave different XP. Only one of them had Signet. It's probably the latter option.

    Exp = 2*Level -86 for [60;65]
    Exp = 2*Level -84 for [66;70?] not sure on this one since only 2 values...
    Exp = 6*Level -338 for [70?71;75]
    Exp = 6*Level -336 for [76;81] but i think there is an error with lvl79 should be 138exp instead of 140exp?
    Exp = Floor(5.3*Level -279) for [81;85]
    Exp = Floor(5.35*Level -281) for [86;90] not sure on this one since only 2 values...
    Exp = 80*Level -7000 for [90;95]

    Bluffalo Tough vs my BLM99 = 252exp, 238exp for EvenMatch, Exp bonus=238/200= +19%?

    ...assumed lvl100 cap ?

    Abyssea XP is weird, I thought. I don't know how it works at all.

    Well i reseted with a Sierra Tiger in between bluffalo kills. I killed like 10 T Bluf i think and all yielded same exp so they all indeed lvl100...
    I also aspired them: they have MP, and given the T ones cons HighDef to my war on skillup mode with a 350ish weapon with like 600ish attack, i'm guessing they are PLD but have to verify...
    On other hand, i think those EM and T might make superb test subjects, easy to solo with Vicissitude/Mchamp atmas: most of them are EM, DC and T ones are rarer. Parses on T ones could potentially be used to verify dmg formulas with mob level = yur level+1 ^^ Just have to make sure to reset with a tiger in between kills...

    Er.... i had signet :s i don't know if that applies inside abyssea ?
