good news everyone!

Mark your calendars for October 9 as FX will host the season premiere of “American Horror Story: Coven,” the third season of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s horror anthology television series. If you haven’t been watching, you’re seriously missing out.

With a cast of regulars and new recruits including Frances Conroy, Taissa Farmiga, Jessica Lange, Alexandra Breckenridge, Kathy Bates, Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Jamie Brewer, Evan Peters, Gabourey Sidibe, Angela Bassett, Patti Lupone, and Denis O’Hare.

First three episodes have interesting titles
Episode 3.01 – “Bitchcraft” (09-Oct-2013)
Episode 3.02 – “Boy Parts” (16-Oct-2013)
Episode 3.03 – “Replacements, The” (23-Oct-2013)

Thems is jokes! The first 2 seasons were amazing and though I've avoided reading too much, assuming she is, I love Kathy Bates as a villain.

The seasons sneak peak that they did after the episode was pretty damned exciting looking. It seems like it is set up to be a bit of a war. The school/Madame LaLaurie vs. The Voodoo Queen. Looks badass. Frances Conroy... I love you. I hope some of the 'dead' characters come back. I have to think they will. Showed Evan Peters "alive" so there is that. I am interested to see how Lily Rabe (Misty Day) returns too.

Anyway, yeah, first episode was great. Some really amazing shots and cinematography too, and the sound is ALWAYS spot on from the intro, the music, even the little cracking sounds it made when Fiona cast magic.

This season is def off to a strong start! Frankly I'm in shock that I have so many good scifi shows to watch this season, and Almost Human hasn't even started yet. I'm pleasantly surprised.
