Delayed Wake up did very little to hurt Ibuki and there are still unblockables but it nerfed the shit out of Ryu and Gen

i guess JPs consider Poison so high becausr she has solid zoneing game and can still capitalize on knockdowns due to her HP fireball, comboable overhead and ex rekka mixups & various options on wakeup herself. Still have to see an amazing Poison. Mabe with Xian, didnt he pick her up as a secondary?

I really wish EVO was this weekend. I didn't play or adjust my setups hardly at all when it came out. Now, I have all reactions and setups for DWU vs. No DWU perfect.

I hate DWU but I think it did make me better at the game, lol. I've used a fake crossup setup exactly once in tournaments so far (it worked lol) and have been forced to rely on footsies/fireball trap/actual real corner pressure, and got better at all of those things.

Still sucks that some matchups that were even in AE are now bad just because DWU makes a knockdown worthless against them, but w/e.

It's people being bad. 12f EX dp means p. much the entire cast can throw out a meaty light and recover in time to block. Or you could just become airborne at all and then it can't even really hit you or lead to a combo. People are just too lazy to practice meaty setups.

In related news I had hit the other guy with wakeup stand fierce at least 10 times that night because his meaty timing was off, after the cut to the camera that was me yelling WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? at him because earlier in the night I had told the stream, him, and the entire building that I was going to hit him with wakeup fierce, lol.

There might be a word for people that don't have meaty light setups and also the ability to immediately confirm whether you DPed through it or not. Not sure bad or lazy are ones I'd use but that's probably why I don't play this game!
