    ParseModXIV

    Proper Link:
    http://ffxiv-app.com

    The below information is OLD!
    Hi!

I know you all use a special fork of a parser for the new Ifrit battles. I just released a new public version of mine, and Mods if there's a better place for this thread please let me know

I was hoping to get some testers. Only requirement other than .NET is to go into options once opened (and before you start it) and setup your character name/server.

I download lodestone profile photos as character icons in the app and the name is to have you shown as "First Last" instead of "You/Your" for stats.

So FFXIVAPP has since replaced the standalone parser, you can still download it but it won't be updated for multihit.

    New Link:
    http://ffxiv-app.com/products (ffxivapp)
    DL: http://ffxiv-app.com/files/public/Ap...V/FFXIVAPP.zip

You need .NET 4.0 full install (not client profile)

Also, since I am still reading the policies of the forums any support questions can be directed to PM unless a Mod/Admin says otherwise

    Thanks!

    ****NOTE****
I've heard my application isn't freely available so there are some mentions around the net:

I fixed the link on your post after scanning. I'm a bit skeptical about this since you're a new user - nothing personal.

Proceed with caution if you download this. MSE says it's clean.

I completely understand. I am "Elionara" on ZAM and "Icehunter" on the Windower forums. My other project is LogMod for auto-translation

Logmod does :D Parsemod doesn't but i can add it in at the bottom taskbar

One thing i forgot was coded lol
If your solo for now, it wont show in tab's but it will keep your stats on the debug tab.

I'll get that fixed up though

Logmod says the dll is outdated, but there's no new dll on your downloads site. Also, exp/hour doesn't work for crafting? And what's the "CraftExp" tab supposed to show?

Anyway, been using LogMod a lot, thanks.

What parser do the rest of you use?

Exp/hour is going to be fixed soon, I'm actually re-writing logmod from scratch to get faster performance out of it The craftexp tab should show only exp you got from crafting

    Thanks for trying it out!

does this hook into your memloc's? or is it like my parser that just reads log files? Could you link me to the source I'd like to check it out. Of course I can just obstract your .net from reflection but its just so much cleaner to get source strait from the coder.

They've all been updated for 1.20 You can download from my site. Regarding the source, my dll file reads the ram and has my own functions and will remain closed source for now

Come this new year I will release the source code to the actual parser gui/program and let everyone have a crack at updating it Mine reads the ram directly at this time.

Did you get the memlocs from stan? My issue with this type of parser is if SE messes with something at the core coding lvl and memory addresses change then the program is useless till it gets fixed. Hard for me to rely on 1 person to keep it up to date.

Great to hear your putting in the effort to make a true parser though really happy this type of activity is going on now even with the games current state. Can't wait for 2.0 and a true developer kit from SE.

No I actually wrote it myself with the help of a friend (memory searching). I had a friend help me with ParseMod but he no longer talks to me for some reason so I've redone alot of it and chose a different programming model for it.

    Regarding update's I've actually updated it on each update once I get home the only issues recently was I kept forgetting to upload the dam thing to my server >.>;;

I haven't been able to find a signature that is stable on each update yet like I did with XI so it annoys me to no end. Ironically I haven't been able to come up with a way to integrate parsing the actual log files on the hard drive lol... I can parse an xml file however which is how you can see your parses again. Both LogMod and ParseMod export an xml file that you just have to drag on top of parsemod to reparse (although for some reason it needs to be in the same dam directory)

Auto-translate codes and hex values sometimes get put into the XML so it throws an error with PM but working on that.

So I guess TLDR; I'm working on a better memloc that won't break until 2.0 and I'm also sending my code to SE in hopes I get a ScaleForm dev kit before release to have log/parse setup already :D

Parse/LogMod have been updated with a more static chat pointer. In addition I have added /echo support and direct to game sending of text with logmod. So you can leave it minimized and see your translations in /echo
